RPSC RAS Syllabus 2019 – The syllabus of RPSC RAS outlines the topics and sub-topics that candidates are required to study while preparing for the exam. Understanding  RPSC RAS 2019 syllabus is important because it helps candidates to differentiate between most and less important topics. Moreover, it helps candidates to figure out what to study and what not to study. Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) prescribes RPSC RAS syllabus. The preliminary exam will have questions from General Knowledge and General Science based on the official syllabus of RPSC RAS. 

Questions in the mains exam will be asked from General Studies, Hindi and English as per RPSC RAS syllabus 2019 for mains exam. RPSC RAS Syllabus 2019 for Preliminary Exam

The preliminary exam of RPSC RAS consists of one paper, General Studies. The standard of questions will be of graduation level. RPSC RAS syllabus for the preliminary exam is given below.

RPSC RAS Syllabus 2019 for Mains Exam 

The mains exam of RPSC RAS will consists of four papers. The standard of questions of  General Hindi and General English will be that of  Senior Secondary level. RPSC RAS syllabus 2019 for mains exam is given below.

RPSC RAS Exam Pattern 2019 

According to the RPSC RAS exam pattern, the preliminary exam will consist of one paper. All questions will be objective type and carry 200 marks. Duration of the test is 3 hours. The mains exam of RPSC RAS will consist of four papers, three papers will be of General Studies while one paper will be of General Hindi and General English. Maximum marks allotted to each paper of mains exam are 200. The Personality Test will be held for 100 marks. 

How to prepare for RPSC RAS?

  • Start preparation for the exam early. Integrating the preparation of prelims and mains exam together a year before is considered as ideal period.

  • Create a study plan that will help you to dedicate adequate time for every topic and subject. 

  • Candidates should practice mock tests

  • Practice previous years’ question papers
