    The Punjab Teacher Eligibility Test is a mandatory qualification, not a direct recruitment exam. The exam authority conducts the exam to recruit qualified candidates in teaching profession in government schools within the state of Punjab. Candidates who are passionate about joining the teaching profession in the Punjab state must go through the PSTET exam.     PSTET Eligibility Certificate 2026

    State Council of Educational Research and Training, Punjab, will issue the eligibility certificate right after the PSTET 2026 results are declared. Candidates must note that the certificate will be issued in online mode on the official website. The qualified candidates are advised to download the certificate of PSTET through their login credentials. The validity of the PSTET certificate has now changed from 7 years to lifetime. All the candidates can download and print their respective PSTET eligibility certificates for future reference.
