APTET Cut off 2019 - Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (APTET) declares the cutoff of AP TET 2019. The APTET Cut off is the qualifying marks that the candidates have to secure to qualify the examination. Candidates have to secure equal to more than the APTET Cut off 2019 marks to qualify the recruitment examination. Eligible candidates will be provided a AP TET certificate through which they can apply for the post of teacher (Class I – VIII) in the state of Andhra Pradesh. However, only 20 % of AP TET scores will be considered in Teacher Recruitment of the State Government while 80% weightage will be given to the written test of Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) based on which the merit list will be prepared. AP TET 2019 will be conducted for two papers – paper – I for primary stage (class- I to V) and paper- II for elementary stage (class- VI to VIII). Candidates who intends to be a Teacher either for Classes I to V or for Classes VI to VIII shall have to appear in both Papers (Paper I and Paper II). To be eligible to apply for AP TET, candidates have to meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed by the authority.

To qualify for AP TET 2019 candidates have to secure the qualifying marks. Candidates have to secure qualifying marks in two papers of AP TET in order to get shortlisted. The result of only those candidates will be processed who will secure AP TET cut off 2019 score in all two papers. The table below shows category wise AP TET qualifying marks.

The result of AP TET 2019 will be released in online mode. Candidates have to login using their hall ticket number and date of birth as login credentials. The result will reflect the details such as candidate’s name, roll number, subject-wise marks and qualifying status. Through AP TET scores candidates will be eligible to apply for teacher post in the state and will get 20% weightage in TRT examination.
The qualified candidates will be provided a AP TET certificate. The Certificate will be valid for 7 years from the date of TET concerned as per CTET. Candidates who have qualified in TET examination may appear again for improving his/her scores in subsequent years. The Certificate shall contain the following details:
Name and Address of the Candidate
Year/ Month of Award of Certificate
Marks obtained in each Paper
Class level of its validity (Class 1st to 5th, Class 6th to 8th or Both) and in case of Classes 6th to 8th, the Subject Area (Mathematics, Science and Social studies) etc.
Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to apply for the post of teachers in Class I to VIII. However, only 20% weightage will be taken from AP TET scores. Other balanced 80% weightage will be from written test in Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT). On the basis of the marks secured in TRT, a merit list will be prepared.
