About TNUSRB SI 2023
Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board released the TNUSRB SI 2023 result (provisional) on September 26, 2024 in online mode on their official website, tnusrb.tn.gov.in. The TNUSRB SI exam 2023 was conducted on August 26, 27, 2023. The TNUSRB SI admit card 2024 was released on August 17, 2023 on the official website.
TNUSRB is constituted by the Government of Tamil Nadu conducts TNUSRB SI to recruit candidates for Sub Inspector of Police and Sub Inspector of Police (Technical and Finger Print branch). The Board conducts the exam separately for each post, i.e. SI (Tech) and SI (Finger Print). There are two different quotas to apply for the exam – open and departmental quota. Candidates who are already serving under Department of Police, Tamil Nadu can apply under departmental quota. The Board conducts TNUSRB SI in four stages – Written exam, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Document Verification and Viva-Voce. To appear for the exam, candidates will need to apply for the exam in the online mode through the official website. Before applying, candidates must check whether they fulfil all eligibility conditions prescribed by the board.

TNUSRB SI 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of TNUSRB SI is determined by Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board along with the notification. TNUSRB SI eligibility criteria has been given below.
Age Limit: In order to be eligible for TNUSRB SI, candidates must be between 20 and 28 years of age.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a degree in Science from UGC recognised Universities. Besides graduation, candidates should also have studied Tamil as a subject in class 10. Candidates not having studied Tamil in class 10 will need to clear Part 2 test held by Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) within two years of joining the post.

The application form of TNUSRB SI is released by the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board. TNUSRB SI application form is available online on the official website only. To apply for the exam, candidates need to register for the exam after which they will need to fill all details in the application form.
To apply successfully for the exam, candidates have to pay application fee of Rs. 500. However, candidates who are applying under both open and departmental categories will have to pay Rs. 1000 as examination fee. The procedure to apply for TNUSRB SI has been provided below.

TNUSRB SI 2023 Exam Pattern
Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board releases the exam pattern of TNUSRB SI along with the notification. As per TNSRB SI exam pattern, the exam will comprise four exam stages – Written exam, Physical Measurement Test, Document Verification and Viva-Voce. The written test will be held for 3 hours. The test will comprise 170 multiple choice questions. Candidates will be awarded 0.5 mark for every correct answer. TNUSRB SI 2023 Admit Card
Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) is issued the TNUSRB admit card online. Candidates who have applied successfully for the exam can download admit card. Candidates can download TNUSRB SI admit card with their user ID and password. The conducting Board will not send the admit through post or any other method. Upon availability of admit card, TNUSRB has sent the link to avail the same on candidates’ registered email ID and mobile number. The procedure to download the admit card are as follows.

TNUSRB SI 2023 Answer Key
After the conduct of the written exam, the Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board (TNUSRB) will release the preliminary answer key of TNUSRB SI. The Board will publish the TNUSRB SI answer key online in the form of a pdf file containing the correct answers to all questions asked in the written exam.
In case of discrepancies in the preliminary answer key, candidates will be able to raise objections by providing valid proof within 7 days from the date of release. After scutinising the objections raised by candidates, the Board will make the necessary changes and release the final answer key. Based on the final answer key, candidates can predict their probable score in TNUSRB SI written exam.
TNUSRB SI 2023 Result
Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board declars the result of TNUSRB SI in four-stage - written exam, Physical Measurement Test (PMT), Document Verification and final result. The Board will release the result of the written exam after the final answer key for the same has been declared. On the basis of the result of the written exam, candidates will be selected for Physical Measurement Test (PMT). Candidates qualifying PMT will be called for DV and then for Viva-Voce. After the conduct of the interview, the final result of TNUSRB SI will be prepared. On the basis of the final TNUSRB SI result, candidates will be shortlisted for recruitment to the various post available for Sub Inspectors.
TNUSRB SI 2023 Cutoff
The cut off of TNUSRB SI is the minimum number of marks that candidates must obtain in order to qualify the exam stage and become eligible for the next stage of the recruitment process. Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board will declare TNUSRB SI cut off individually for all stages of the exam after which the final cut off will be prepared. The Board has already prescribed the minimum qualifying marks of the written exam - 30 marks.
First, the Board will determine the cut off of the written exam on the basis of which candidates will be shortlisted for PMT. Candidates qualifying PMT stage will be called for Document Verification. After Document Verification, candidates producing all valid certificates required for the exam will be selected to appear for Viva-Vice. After the interview, the Board will prepare the final TNUSRB SI cut off list. Based on the final cutoff, candidates will be recruited for the various branches of Sub Inspector.
TNUSRB SI 2023 Selection Process
Tamil Nadu Uniformed Services Recruitment Board conducts TNUSRB SI exam in four stage to recruit candidates for the various branches available for the post of Sub Inspector. The four stage of the exam are – Written examination, Physical Measurement Test, Document Verification and Viva-Voce. Candidates will have to qualify each stage of the exam to be selected for subsequent rounds of the exam.
On the basis of marks secured in the written exam, candidates will be selected for PMT. Qualifying PMT, candidates will be called for Document Verification. After document Verification, candidates producing all valid documents and certificated during Document Verification will be shortlisted to appear for Viva-Voce (Interview). After Viva-Voce, final result will be prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the exam.
