MPPEB Jail Prahari 2026 Exam - Notification (Out), Dates, Application, Eligibility, Syllabus, Pattern, Result, Cut off

Madhya Pradesh Professional Exam Board releases the MPPEB Jail Prahari result 1.5 months after the conduct of exam. The result is declared online on the official website. Candidates who clear the written examination are called for Physical fitness exam. This will include the 800-metre race. Those who complete the race within the stipulated time will be made to participate in shotput after which the final candidates will be chosen.

• According to the eligibility criteria of MPPEB Jail Prahari, candidates must have passed either class 10^th or 12^th.
• He/She should mandatorily be a citizen of India.
• The age of the candidate should be in between 18 and 25 years.

The MPPEB Jail Prahari 2026 application form has been released online by Madhya Pradesh Professional Exam Board from February 28 to March 14, 2026 on their official website. The application fee for General category candidates is Rs.500 while that for the reserved category is Rs.250. It must be noted that the payment of MPPEB Jail Prahari application form and application fee shall be submitted online.

Selection Procedure

After the exam, candidates, almost 10 times the number of vacancies available, will be selected for the second round which is physical examination. Candidates will have to compete in the 800-metre race and shot put to qualify for the post of Jail Prahari. Selected candidates will be informed about their selection on the same day.

MPPEB Jail Prahari exam is conducted in online mode. The exam is conducted in two sessions over a two day period. The candidate  have to report for examination an hour prior to the beginning of the exam. Candidates are given 10 minutes to read the instructions. The duration of the MPPEB Jail Prahari exam will be 2 hours. According to the MPPEB Jail Prahari exam pattern, the maximum marks a candidate can score is 100. There will be 100 questions of 1 mark each. MPPEB Jail Prahari exam will include questions from General Knowledge, Hindi, English, Maths and General Science covered till high school level.

The MPPEB Jail Prahari admit card will be released by Madhya Pradesh Professional Exam board in the online mode on the official website. Candidates can download their admit card using their application number. The MPPEB Jail Prahari admit card 2026 will consist of two parts. The first part will mention the exam and candidature details like name, date of birth, exam date, exam centre etc. The other part will have space for the signature and biometric of the candidate which he/she will have to fill while in the examination hall.
