SSC GD Constable 2019 - SSC has released the final answer key of SSC GD Constable 2018 on July 10, 2019. Candidates can check their answer key by entering user ID and password. The commission has also released the response sheet, questions along with the answer key. The CBE was conducted from February 11 to March 11, 2019. Result for the same was declared on June 20, 2019. The admit card of GD Constable 2019 has been released by the examination authority on February 4, 2019 for Computer Based Test (CBT). Candidates can download SSC GD Constable admit card 2019 till their respective date of examination.
Earlier, SSC had released the application form of SSC GD Constable 2019 on August 17, 2018. The last day of filling the application form was September 30. There are three stages or selection process for SSC GD Constable which includes - Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. SSC conducts GD Constable exam for the recruitment of male and female General Duty constables in BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA, SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles. For the year 2019, SSC has announced as many as 58373 vacancies for SSC GD Constable, out of which 50066 vacancies are for male while 8307 for female.
Note - SSC GD Constable Result for Computer-based examination has been announced on June 21. Along with the result the examination authority has also released the cutoff for male and female candidates. Candidates who have qualified the CBE are selected to appear for PET/PST.
Note - SSC has announced that SSC GD Constable 2018 PET/ PST will be conducted on August 1, 2019. The same notice mentions that candidates will be able to raise objections on the CBE result data until July 31, 2019.

SSC has released the official answer key of SSC GD Constable 2019 on April 30. Candidates can download SSC GD Constable 2018 answer key online for all sets of question booklet to check the correct answers. In case of any discrepancy, candidates can challenge the answer key from April 30 to May 5, 2019.
SSC GD Constable admit card for computer-based examination has been released on February 4, 2019. The admit card is available on the official website of SSC. Candidates can download SSC GD Constable admit card 2019 in online mode only. To download the admit card, candidates need to enter roll number/registration number/name and date of birth. Candidates have to carry at least one photo-identity proof to the examination centre along with the admit card. Besides, they will also have to carry two passport sized photographs for affixing it on the admit card in presence of official/invigilators.

As per the prescribed exam pattern of SSC GD constable, there are three stages of selection - Computer Based Test, Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Medical Examination. The Computer Based Test comprises objective multiple choice type questions from four sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. Candidates who will be selected in the computer-based examination will be eligible to appear for PST/PET. Candidates appearing for PST have to qualify the physical standards prescribed by SSC. PET includes (race) followed by biometric identification & screening of testimonials and thereafter chest and weight measurements by a board.

Only those candidates who will qualify PET/PST will be called for medical examination. In this stage of the selection process candidates will have to undergo eye checkup, they must not have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein and squint in eyes. The result of SSC GD Constable 2018 will be announced by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in three stages - CBE, Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and final. SSC will first declare the result of the candidates who will secure minimum qualifying marks in CBE followed by the declaration of PET/PST. Only those candidates who will qualify PET/PST will have to qualify the medical examination. On the basis of the medical examination result, SSC GD candidates will be eligible for final selection. The final result will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in CBE, PET/PST and medical examination.
The cut off of SSC GD Constable will be released separately for male and female candidates stages wise. Candidates will have to secure minimum qualifying marks in the CBE conducted by SSC to be eligible for PST/PET. The Commission will fix different qualifying standards for candidates belonging to different categories in different states/UTs, taking into consideration vacancies allotted to each State/UT. On the basis of written exam, PET/PST and medical examination, SSC will release the final merit list of candidates category-wise and state-wise. The selection process of SSC GD Constable 2019 includes three stage - Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. Computer Based Exam (CBE)
The Commission is conducting Computer Based Exam for the candidates whose application was accepted by the commission. As per the prescribed exam pattern, CBE comprises objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks. Candidates who will qualify this stage will be eligibile to appear for next round of selection process.According to the notification released by SSC,10 times the total number of vacancies candidates will be selected for PET/PST.
Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - Candidates qualifying the CBE will have to appear for PET/PST. This stage of selection process includes biometric identification & screening of testimonials, chest and weight measurements and race of 1 Mile for male while it is 800 meters for females. Candidates qualifying PST/PET test will be called for medical examination.
This stage of the selection process will be done for the candidates selected in PST/PET. Medical examination includes medical examination like knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein and squint in eyes. Candidates will be shortlisted for medical examination from amongst the candidates who qualify PET/PST. Along with the time of medical examination, candidates will have to carry all academic, domicile, caste certificate etc for verification.
The application form of SSC GD Constable 2018 was available from August 17 to September 30, 2018. Candidates were able to fill the application fee till October 3, 2018. The application fee was Rs. 100 whereas SC, ST and women are exempted from payment of a fee. Candidates were able to pay online through SBI Challan/Net Banking/Credit/debit card. The correction window facility was also able from October 11 to 18, 2018 for the candidates to make changes in the application form of SSC GD Constable.
The steps to apply for SSC GD Constable were as bellow.

Part 2 included uploading of scanned image, Signature and filling of payment details.
Part 1 – Registration
Candidates applying for SSC GD Constable 2019 application had to fill the basic details in the online application form like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender etc.
After filling the basic details candidates need to submit the application form by clicking on “I Agree” button.
After the part 1 of the registration process was submitted the registration number appeared on the screen. Candidates must note down the registration number for further use.
Part 2 – Registration
Enter the registration number and password to login to part 2 of registration.
Pay the requisite amount, upload the scanned photograph and signature. The application fee was Rs 100 which can be paid either online or offline.
Upload latest color passport size photograph and signature and take a print out of the application form.
