SSC GD Constable 2018 - Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the revised result & cut off of SSC GD Constable on September 12, 2019. As per the revised result a total of 5,35,169 candidates have qualified in CBE. Previously, SSC has released the result of SSC GD Constable on June 21, 2019, in online mode. The result of SSC GD Constable 2018 is announced by Staff Selection Commission (SSC) in three stages - CBE, Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and final. On the basis of SSC GD Constable result of CBE, candidates are called for PST/PET. PET/PST and medical examination is qualifying in nature. The final result along with force allocation will be declared by SSC based on the performance of candidates in the Computer Based Examination, Physical Standard Test, Physical Efficiency Test and Detailed Medical Examination.
The revised cut off of SSC GD Constable 2018 has been released along with the revised result. Candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks in the CBE conducted by SSC are eligible for PET/PST. Candidates must score above the cut off marks fixed by the commission in Computer Based Test. The Commission shall have the discretion to fix different qualifying standards for candidates belonging to different categories in different states/UTs, taking into consideration vacancies allotted to each State/UT. The Commission thereafter will release the final merit list of candidates category-wise and state-wise. The minimum cut off percentage marks for selection normally is around 35% for General and Ex-servicemen and 33% for SC/ST/OBC. CRPF has issued the admit card of SSC GD Constable 2018 for PET/PST on July 30, 2019. Candidates who have qualified the written exam can download their admit card for PET/PST by entering roll number and date of birth. Earlier, the admit card of SSC GD Constable 2018 was issued for Computer Based exam on February 4, 2019. PET, PST, DME/RME. Candidates who have applied online for SSC GD Constable exam has been issued admit card for Computer Based exam by SSC. Candidates have to carry at least one photo-identity proof and two passport size photographs to the examination centre along with the admit card.
The final answer key of SSC GD Constable 2018 has been released by SSC on July 10, 2019. Candidates can download SSC GD Constable 2018 final answer key online for all sets of question booklet to check the correct answers. The result of the same was declared on June 20, 2019. Provisional answer key of SSC GD Constable was released on April 30, 2019. Candidates were able to raise objections from April 30 to May 5, 2019.

The application form of SSC GD Constable 2018 was released on August 17, 2018. The last date to apply for SSC GD Constable exam was September 30, 2018. However, the candidates were able to fill the application fee till October 3, 2018. Fee was Rs. 100 which was paid through SBI Challan/Net Banking/Credit/debit card. SC, ST and women are exempted from payment of fee. The correction window facility was also able from October 11 to 18, 2018 for the candidates to make changes in the application form of SSC GD Constable.
Online - Candidates applying for SSC GD Constable 2018 online have to fill the application form in two parts.
Part 1 includes filling up of basic details like name, qualification, centre name etc.
Part 2 includes uploading of scanned image, Signature and filling of payment details.
Part 1 – Registration
Candidates applying for SSC GD Constable 2018 application must fill the basic details in the online application form like name, father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, gender etc.
After filling the basic details candidates need to submit the application form by clicking on “I Agree” button.
After the part 1 of registration process was submitted the registration number appeared on the screen. Candidates must note down the registration number for further use.

The exam of SSC GD Constable 2018 is divided into three parts - Physical Standards Test (PST)/ Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Computer Based Test, Medical Examination. The Computer Based Test comprises Objective Multiple Choice Type questions from four sections - General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and English/Hindi. The recruitment process will consists of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination. Each stage of SSC GD Constable selection process is explained below.
Computer Based Exam (CBE) - The Commission will conduct Computer Based Exam for all candidates who have applied for the exam. The Computer Baed exam of SSC GD Constable consists of one objective type paper containing 100 questions carrying 100 marks. Candidates who qualifies the CBE will be called for PET/PST. As per official notice, candidates 10 times the total number of vacancies will be called for PET/PST.
Physical Standards Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) - PET/PST will be conducted for candidates qualifying the CBE. This test includes biometric identification & screening of testimonials, chest and weight measurements and race of 1 Mile for male while it is 800 meters for females. Candidates qualifying PST/PET test will be called for medical examination.
Medical Examination - The medical examination of the selected candidates are done by the commission to check whether they have knock knee, flat foot, varicose vein and squint in eyes. Candidates should be in good mental and physical health so that they can perform their duties in high altitude and border areas where the climatic conditions are extreme. Candidates will be shortlisted for medical examination from amongst the candidates who qualify PET/PST. At the time of medical examination, candidate's academic, domicile, caste certificate etc will be verified.
