    Bank PO Exam - Banking and Finance has always provided large career opportunities to the aspirants who seek jobs in public or private sector as Bank PO (Probationary Officers). Every year, organisations dealing in banking and finance conduct competitive bank PO exams to select candidates for various vacancies. Most of the Bank PO exams are conducted by State of India (SBI), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), ICICI Bank, Bank Of Baroda (BOB). Graduates between the age of 20 to 30 years can appear for the bank PO exams. The test is held in three stages - prelims, mains, and interview. While the prelims exam is conducted for a total of 100 marks containing questions of mark each (MCQs), mains exam is held for 200 marks containing 155 questions (McQs). In both the phases 1/4th mark is deducted for wrong answers.

    However, for BOB and ICICI Bank, candidates have to pass the online test and psychometric questionnaire test after which they are called for GD and Interview. Having qualified the interview, candidates have to take admission in Manipal School of Banking and Finance where they are trained under classroom program and awarded PG diploma degree in Banking and Finance.

    Bank PO Eligibility Criteria

    Before appearing for the PO exam for banks, candidates must meet certain eligibility criteria. The bank PO eligibility criteria is determined by the conducting autorites on the basis of Nationality, Age and Education Qualification.     The result of each bank PO exam is announced on the respective website of the exam conducting authorities. The result is announced in online mode for all the three stages of the exam. To download the result of Bank PO exams, candidates must use their registration/roll number and date of birth/password. The result will contain details like, name, registration number, roll number, marks secured by the candidates, and qualifying status of the candidates. All those who qualify in the first stage of the exam will have to appear for the mains exam after which the mains qualified candidates have to appear for the interview stage.
