Candidates are advised to go through BOB PO exam pattern 2018 and syllabus before preparing for the examination. Qualifying candidates of BOB PO online exam and interview enter a 9-month banking and finance programme in Baroda Manipal School of Banking and are eventually given allotment as Probationary Officers in branches of Bank of Baroda.

 

 

BOB PO 2018 Exam Pattern

  • BOB PO 2018 will be held in online mode.

  • There will be 5 sections – 4 objectives (MCQ type questions) and 1 descriptive.

  • The question paper will be bilingual except for English Language section (both objective and descriptive).

  • Four objective sections will carry total 200 marks for 165 questions and one descriptive section will carry 50 marks for 2 questions of essay writing and letter writing.

  • 2 hours 30 minutes will be given to attempt the four objective sections and 30 minutes will be given to attempt the descriptive sections for 2 questions.

  • The candidate will have one-fourth of the marks allotted to the question deducted if the answer is incorrect.

 BOB PO Exam Pattern 2018 - Psychometric Test/GD/PI

 

The candidates who qualify the online test of BOB PO 2018 will be called for psychometric test/group discussion/personal interview. The final merit list will be made on the basis of the combined marks of BOB PO online test and GD/PI obtained by candidates. However, candidates qualifying marks will be decided by Bank of Baroda.

BOB PO syllabus is similar to other banking examinations. Syllabus of BOB PO 2018 will contain topics that'll be based on the sections of the online exam paper. BOB PO syllabus 2018 is prescribed for five sections. There are four objective sections – Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude and General Awareness. The fifth section will be descriptive in nature and will have questions of essay writing and letter writing. Ans. After qualifying the online exam, you need to qualify a GD/PI stage then you will enter the 9-month banking and finance programme in Broad Manipal School of Banking.

Ans. There 200 questions in all the objective sections and two in the descriptive section. The candidates will have to take total 202 questions.

Q. Will there be a break of time between the duration of the objective and descriptive sections?
