Army Public School Teacher Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit: Candidates should have maximum of 40 years of age.

• Freshers -  maximum of 40 years of age 

  • For Delhi Schools:- TGT/PRT (maximum 26 years of age) & PGT (maximum 36 years of age)

• Experienced candidates - Maximum 57 years of age (Delhi Schools - maximum 40 years of age)

Educational Qualification:

Army Public School Teacher Application Details: 

Documents needed before filling the online application form:

• Scanned photo, signature and education qualification document. The size of the photo should be 140X160 (60Kb) and size of this signature file should be 60X90 (30Kb).

• A Valid e-mail ID and mobile number

• A valid Credit card/Debit card/Net banking

• Step-1: Filling the Application Form:

  • Log onto the website and read the instructions available on the web portal.

  • The first time, candidates have to enter as ‘NEW USER’ on the website.

  • Fill up the basic personal information on the online application form as per the instructions.

    • Post Applied For

    • Full Name

    • Gender

    • Date of Birth

    • Email ID

    • Nationality

    • Address

    • Mobile Number

• A User ID and Password will be generated and displayed on the screen.

• Then enter the following details without any mistakes.

  • Professional Details

  • Qualification Details

  • Experience Details

  • Click on the proceed button for the payment of the application fee.

• Step-2: Payment of Application Fee:

  • Select the payment mode option (online).

  • A payment gateway has been integrated with the website for this purpose and candidates will be guided through the payment process.

  • Application Fee: Rs.500 (non-refundable)

  • Mode of Payment: Application fee can be paid through online mode only. Payment options are Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/wallet.

• Step-3: Upload the necessary documents:
  

  • After payment of the fee, the candidate will have to upload the following documents,

    • Photograph and signature

    • Date of birth proof

    • Certificates of academic qualification

• Once registration is completed, the candidates will get a confirmation about the successful registration. Candidates will also be informed through e-mail and SMS regarding the same.

Army Public School Teacher Exam Pattern:

• Screening Test will be conducted online in the multiple choice question format.

• PGT/TGT candidates who fail in Part B but pass Part A may opt to take a score card for PRT.

• The total scores will be normalized to 100.

• There will be negative marking (1/4 marks) for each wrong answer.

• Parts A & B will be will be available together and the candidates have the freedom to answer questions in the order in which they prefer.

• To qualify for a post, the candidate must score a minimum of 50 % marks in each part.

Stage-1: Screening Test:

Stage-2: Interview: The interview will be conducted by the Army Welfare Education Society (AWES). The interview may or may not be held at the location of the school. The interview will be held as per the discretion of the local management.

Stage-3: Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency Test:

• Written test containing Essay and Comprehension of 15 marks each will be held along with the evaluation of teaching skills.

• Stages 2 & 3 will be conducted under the Board of Administration at Headquarters Command/School Management.

• Computer proficiency tests will be conducted by AWES on the same day of the written test. It will be held as per discretion of the local management. 

• The appointment of the selected candidates will be made as per CBSE/AWES Rules.

Army Public School Teacher Preparation Tips:

• Mock Test: 

  • Candidates would be able to take mock tests online to familiarize themselves with the exam pattern. A link for the mock tests will be available on the website from.

  • Speed and accuracy of the candidates will be improved by taking the mock test regularly.

• Sample Question Papers:

  • Sample question papers of Army Public School Teacher exam will be available in the official web portal.

  • Candidates can download the sample question papers by logging onto to the appropriate link on the web portal and making the online payment.

  • Once candidates have made online payment successfully, candidates need to login after 24 hours to download the sample question papers.

  • No hard copies of the question paper will be sent to the candidates by post or any other modes. 

  • Payment will not be accepted in the form of cheques/drafts/postal orders/money orders.

  • Costs of each paper given below,

    • Part A-Rs.100

    • Part B-Rs.100

Army Public School Teacher Admit Card:

• Candidates are informed that the admit card will be available through online mode

• Candidates will get the intimation about the admit card through SMS or e-mail.

• The admit card will be downloaded from the website  only

• Army Public School Teacher Admit Card contains vital information like the date and time of the screening test, the address of the exam centre, the name of the candidate, guidelines that had to be followed on the day of the exam etc.

• So the candidates are advised to read the instructions appended to the admit card carefully.

• If the candidate found any information that had been wrongly mentioned in the admit card, the candidates could approach the exam authorities concerned a the AWES and get the necessary changes made.

• Candidates can carry any of the following identity proof along with the admit card to the exam centre.

• Candidates must keep the admit card safely for future reference as it will be required at the time screening test.

Army Public School Teacher Answer Key: Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) will not release the answer key for the screening test because no review of results will be allowable.

Army Public School Teacher Result :

Stage-1: Army Public School Teacher Result for Screening Test:

• The Score Cards of qualified candidates will be provided through the web portal after the declaration of result. 

• The candidates can download the score card and they can laminate the same for future use. 

• The score card will be valid for the candidate takes up the teaching position in any CBSE recognized school within three years of issue of score card.

Stage-2 & Stage-3: Army Public School Teacher Result for Interview & Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency Test:

• To qualify for interview and evaluation of teaching skills, the candidates have to pass the screening test.

• Based on the score card of the screening test, candidates will be shortlisted for the Interview and Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency Test.

Army Public School Teacher Cut Off:

Army Welfare Education Society (AWES) is the responsible body for releasing the Army Public School Teacher Cut Off. The mode of release of the cut off will be online mode only. AWES will release the cut off with the release of result. The regulatory body will intimate the candidates regarding the cut off through the website. 

Total Weighted Score = Screening Test (PGT/TGT/PRT)+ Interview + Teaching Skills & Computer Proficiency Test.
