UPSC IES/ISS Cutoff 2019 - Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will release the cut off of Indian Economic Service (IES)/Indian Statistical Service (ISS) separately. UPSC IES/ISS cutoff 2019 will be released category wise. The cutoff of written exam will be released in 3 stages - minimum marks in each of the 6 subject/papers, minimum of marks in 4 Economics/Statistical papers (Out of 800 marks), minimum of marks in all 6 papers (out of 1000 marks).  The final cutoff will be on the basis of minimum marks of the last candidate finally recommended where the cutoff will be calculated out of 1200 marks. Candidates appearing for UPSC IES/ISS 2019  exam will have to score the equal or above to the cutoff released by UPSC. UPSC IES/ISS cut off 2019 can be expected to be released in December 2019.

On the basis of last year cutoff, candidates belonging to OBC and General category who have secured 15% of minimum qualifying marks were eligible to appear for viva-voce. UPSC IES/ISS cut off for the written exam was calculated out of 800 marks for 4 Economics papers and cutoff for all the 6 papers was calculated out of 1000. The final cutoff was based on marks obtained by the last recommended candidate and calculated out of 1200 marks for IES. The minimum qualifying cutoff of ISS 10% for General, OBC, ST and PH candidates. The marks of all Statistics 4 papers was calculated out of 800 marks whereas for all 6 papers the cutoff was calculated out of 1000 marks. The final cutoff was calculated out of 1200 marks.   • No. of candidates appearing for the exam

  • Difficulty level of exam

UPSC IES/ISS Cutoff 2019 - Written Examination

The cutoff of written examination of IES/ISS is calculated in 3 stages. Candidates will have qualified the cutoff released by UPSC. The minimum qualifying cutoff of UPSC IES/ISS will be released for all 6 papers in percentage form. The marks of 4 Economics / Statistical papers of IES/ISS will be calculated out of 800 marks. Candidates will have to score minimum marks in all 6 papers which will be calculated out of 1000 marks. 

UPSC IES/ISS Cutoff 2019 - Final Selection

UPSC will release the final cutoff of IES/ISS category wise separately for General, OBC, SC etc. Candidates will have to secure above and equal to the final cutoff released by UPSC. UPSC IES/ISS cutoff 2019 for final selection will be done on the minimum marks of last finally recommended candidate. The final cutoff will be calculated out of 1200 marks.

The result of UPSC IES/ISS will be released separately. Candidates who qualify the written exam will be called for viva-voce. UPSC IES/ISS result 2019  will be released in pdf format. The result pdf will have the roll number of qualified candidates. UPSC will also declare the final result of the candidates who qualify the Viva-voce.
