SSC CPO Selection Process 2025 - Check Complete Selection process

SSC CPO Selection Process 2025 - Detailed Medical Examination (DME)

Candidates who clear the SSC CPO paper 2 will be called for medical examination. SSC CPO medical exam is qualifying in nature. The candidates will be tested on the basis of various parameters like eyesight, knock knees, body structure and others. SSC CPO Eyesight

• The minimum distant vision should be 6/9 (worse eye) and 6/6 (better eye).

• The minimum near vision should be N9 (worse eye) and N6 (better eye).

• In a right-handed person, the right eye is better and vice versa.

• All standards should be without any correction like wearing glasses or surgery of any kind to improve visual acuity.

Physical Standards

• Candidates must be in good mental and bodily health and free from any physical defect.

• Candidates must not have varicose veins, knock knee, flat foot, or squint in the eye and they should possess high colour vision.

SSC CPO Tattoo Policy

Location: Tattoos marked on traditional sites of the body like the inner aspect of the forearm but only the left forearm, dorsum of the hands or being non-saluting limb will be allowed.

Content: Tattoo depicting figures or religious symbols and the name, as followed in Indian Army is permitted.

Size: It should be less than 1/4th of the particular part (Elbow or Hand) of the body.

SSC CPO Selection Process 2025 - Resolution of ties in SSC CPO

Staff Selection Commission will opt for the resolution of the tie method in case two candidates score the same marks. The parameters will be applied to SSC CPO selection criteria as mentioned below.

• Total score in SSC CPO paper 2.

• Date of birth, with older candidates placed higher.

• Alphabetical order of the names of the candidates.

Candidates who qualify in all the stages are called for the final document verification as per the SSC CPO selection process.
