IBPS PO, SBI Clerk: Cost Of Online Coaching For Major Banking Exams

The race for a government job – “sarkari naukri”, as it is described in part of India – is not new. Beyond the administrative, defence and similar services, the government sector to attract large numbers of applicants are public banks. Exams conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) reportedly see around 1.6 lakh applicants each year.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is a government recruitment agency under the Ministry of Finance. It conducts exams for recruitment in almost every public sector bank and Regional Rural Banks (RRB) , at the clerical (IBPS clerk) and probationary officer (IBPS PO full form) levels. The only exceptions are State Bank of India which conducts its own SBI PO and SBI clerk exams, and the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Candidates are selected for the posts of PO, SO, clerk and others.
