Choosing basic math in class 10th will likely not affect your eligibility for most SSC exams, other state services exams, and UPSC as long as you meet the specific math requirement for the desired post.
Many SSC exams, like SSC CGL or CHSL, have a minimum educational qualification requirement that specifies a Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Math in 10th standard usually doesn't play a role in these exams.
Eligibility criteria for state services exams vary, but most focus on the educational qualification required for the specific post. Math from 10th might not be a factor.
UPSC Civil Services Exam (CSE) requires a Bachelor's degree. Math from 10th doesn't affect eligibility.
