Candidates who are between 16.5 to 19.5 years of age and have completed class 12 exam can apply for NDA. However, candidates need to check the educational qualification of the admission to Army, Navy and Air Force. There is no such number of attempts to appear for the exam.

NDA exam is conducted twice a year by UPSC to recruit candidates for army,navy and air-force wings of naval academy and defence academy.
To appear for this exam candidates needs to fulfil the following eligibility criterias:-

The results of nda exams are generally released after 1.5- 2 months from the exam is held.
Then, after the release of results you get call for ssb rounds which will be after 1 month from the date of release of the results.
