    About GIC Assistant Manager Scale I Exam 2024

    General Insurance Corporation of India (GIC) will conduct the GIC assistant manager level 2 online interview date 2024 on April 16, 2025. The GIC assistant manager result for level 1 online interview was released on April 4, 2025 on the on the official website, gicre.in. The GIC Assistant manger level 1 interview 2024 date for medical stream was scheduled on April 4, 2025.

    The conducting authority released the GIC Assistant Manager notification 2024 on December 4, 2024 for the recruitment at the post of Scale 1 Assistant Managers on their official website, . The GIC Assistant manager 2024 application form has also activated on the same date. The last date to fill the GIC assistant manager application form is December 19, 2024. Candidates who successfully submit the application form will be issued the GIC assistant manager admit card 2024 7 days before the examination. The GIC Assistant manager 2024 exam will tentatively be held on January 5, 2025.

    The candidates willing to make a career in the field of insurance and are eligible as per the criteria specified can fill the application in the online mode. The selection for the GIC Assistant Manager post will be purely based on the student’s performance in the Online Test followed by Group Discussion and Interview.     GIC Assistant Manager Scale I Exam General Insurance Corporation of India Assistant Manager Exam (session 2024)

    The GIC Assistant manager application form 2024 was released on December 4, 2024. Candidates can submit the GIC Assistant manager application form by December 19, 2024. Candidates can also pay the GIC assistant manager application fee by December 19, 2024. 

    Students must first check the eligibility if satisfied they have to apply online. It involves first registration using a valid e-mail ID and mobile no. which would be further used, then filling in all the personal details, uploading scanned photograph and signature, the last step is making payment. Candidate must also print the e-receipt for the fee and a copy of filled in application form and keep it safe for future use.

    • Indian Citizen

    • People from other countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Tibet, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Burma etc. Provided that they produce a certificate issued by Government of India for eligibility

                

    Age

            
                

    21 to 30 years with a relaxation in upper age limit as follow:   

    • SC/ST – 5 years  
    • OBC – 3 years      
    • Ex-Servicemen – 3 years with the exception of more for reserved categories
    • Widow/ Divorcee who are not married – 9 years           
    • Existing Employee – 8 years           
                

    Educational Qualification

            
                

    For General - Candidate must possess a Graduate/Post Graduate in any subject with at least 60% marks in either of the degree examinations for General & OBC candidates and relaxation of at least 55% marks for SC/ST candidates.

    Legal - Bachelor’s degree in law recognized by Bar council of India as an Advocate with a minimum of 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and minimum 55% for SC/ST candidates. 

    HR  - Graduate in any discipline with minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and minimum 55% marks for SC/ST candidates (AND) Post Graduation in HRM / Personnel Management .

    Insurance - Graduation in any discipline with minimum 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and minimum 55% for SC/ST candidates. Candidates should possess Post Graduate Degree/diploma in General Insurance/ Risk Management/ Life Insurance/ FIII/ FCII. 

    Finance - B.Com. with 60% marks for General & OBC candidates and minimum 55% for SC/ST candidates from a recognized University.

    Stage 2: Group Discussion/Interview

    The shortlisted candidates are called for Group Discussion and Interview on the basis of overall marks scored in Part A + Part B + Part C of written examination out of total 150 marks. The candidate must score 60% marks individually in all stages to qualify for the post.

                                                            The GIC assistant manager admit card 2024 will be issued 7 days before the examination. Candidates can download the admit card online by entering their roll number or registration number. It will mention the details regarding the exam centre, timing and session along with one's personal details. There will be separate admit card for both the stages. A candidate must carry a valid photo- ID proof and other documents if mentioned along with the admit card to the exam hall.

                                                            GIC Assistant manager Result is expected to be released within two months of the conduction of the exam. Post the result candidates are called for GD and Interview. After which a final list of selected candidates is published for training and posting. Initially, the probation period is of one year depending upon the performance it might be extended.
