UPSC Civil Services Exam
Hello there
Hope you are doing well. As you must be aware that for the beginning of upsc preparation you most important thing is your syllabus. Same as like that one most important thing is your basics. You must clear your basics firstly so fir that ncert books are preffered so firstly do reading of ncert from class 6 to class 12 as they will create you base.
Now after doing that you must do some standard books also for the reference as they will be helping you to understand the upper level of the things.
Hope you understand!
Best of luck!
Thank you!
I appreciate your dedication that at a very early age you're determined to become an IAS officer.
See at this age you must be focused on your academics too as they play a very vital role. Now coming on to the IAS preparation you can join any college any stream whichever you like it couldn't be working as a obstacle in your aim of becoming IAS officer.
As you are asking of any specific college so i would not recommend you or even there's no any specific school who'll provide you the preparation of upsc exam at this age. If there is so, then that's not worth it.
From my own point of view firstly do your 11 and 12 class with dedication and the from your graduation period start your preparation.
Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing well. For becoming an IAS officer you can be from any profession. As in upsc exam there is very uncertainty. So you must have some backup plan read that will make you burden free.

Hi
If you are still in your intermediate second year i.e in your class 12 then I won't recommend you to start your UPSC preparation right now because class 12th is very important and in this year you need to work hard to score well in your 12th board examination so that you can get admission in a good college for your graduation. If you want to become in IAS officers then you need to clear UPSC civil services examination and to be eligible for that you need to be at least a graduate so what you can do is start your preparation for UPSC during your graduation if you can manage with it otherwise after completing your graduation.
Anyway,
If you still want to study for UPSC preparation in your to 12th itself then I would recommend you to first complete your 12th board examination syllabus and then what you can do is start with class 6th - 12th History Civics geography books .

- ---------) Discipline is the key to crack UPSC, so you need to make a routine/ time table and follow it .
----------)Read newspaper like the Hindu or Indian Express and magazines like Yojana, Kurukshetra, Economic and Political Weekly to keep yourself updated with the current events and issues.
----------) take short breaks in between your studies, studying continuously can be brain tiring and it becomes difficult to focus and study with concentration, so take breaks to relax and refresh your brain otherwise you won't be able to retain whatever you read.
-----------)Choose your optional subject wisely , choose the subject you have interest in.
----------)Make short notes for each subject, these will be your life saviour and will help you in your revisions a lot as syllabus is wide
----------)Set daily goals like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to cover these chapters this week and practice their questions too, by the end of this week and similarly set monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.
----------)Revise :- there's no point of preparing for the exam if you couldn't recall anything in the UPSC Examination so you should stress on revision as well.
----------) Your mains examination is in written, so you need to work your speed and also work on improving how to present the knowledge you have on paper, so answer writing practicing should be your priority
----------)Solve previous year question papers and mock test papers ;- You should solve these , it will give you idea of types of questions asked and their difficulty level and will help you a lot.
----------)Also work on your communication skills and personality development as it plays an important role in your interview round.

Hello aspirant.
Hope you are doing well in your life. See for the preparation of upsc you don't need to have something any specific graduation or specific subject. For upsc you can choose any subject according to your preference and can give exam according to that only.
For ease many people choose bachelor in humanities subject as it coincide with most of the upsc syllabus. But you can do your graduation from any stream in which you feel good.
Good luck!
