Did I start taking coaching for ias from starting of my graduation?

sanjana more 15th May, 2019
Hello Gaurav,

Taking coaching or not depends on you because it is not necessary that only coaching students top the exam or are selected.
Now it depends on you, if you are a person who can't do study by your own and always need someone to guide you and force you to study by giving you targets then I think you should go for coaching.
If you can do all by own then you can avoid this just be continuous in your studies.

Coaching also depends on your graduation , if you have selected difficult graduation field or the field which consumes your more time then I think time will be the issue so first try to match your schedule and then decide what to do.
You are starting your graduation so you have much time so you can start your preparation by basics and then after completing basics also you can join coaching, it is all upto you.

Thanks!

What should I do after 12 for becoming IAS I am from non med

Nandhini Student Expert 15th May, 2019
Hello student,
To become an IAS,  you should appear for the UPSC CS examination, which has three stages. Before that, there are certain eligibility criteria. One should have a bachelor's degree and should be 21 years of age. This bachelor's degree can be in any stream from the approved colleges. You can also start you preparation from your college level. It would be best, if you choose subjects like political science, sociology, history or economics in your graduation as they have a huge overlap with the general studies paper in both the preliminary and the main examination. Also, develop the habit of reading newspapers, if not and keep yourself updated with the current affairs. Practise a lot of tests along with your preparation. Consistency in preparation is the only key of you need to crack this exam.
Hope this helped. All the best!
