Hello Aspirant,
It seems like you are interested in the Civil Services. To become an IAS officer in India, it's a dream of many. In order to avail that position, the candidate must possess a degree from an Indian University or an equivalent qualification. Those in the final year of a degree course can also appear in the Preliminary Examination. It is not possible to become an IAS officer right after completing 12th standard! In order to become an IAS officer, you must apply for CSE exam conducted by UPSC. You must also crack the exam (preliminary, mains and interview) in order to get selected for the training. Good luck!
Hello Aisha,
Since you have done your post graduation in sociology so according to me you should choose sociology only as a optional subject as you have studied it for such a long time now and you must have covered many aspects of sociology. Indian Administrative Service is also based most on the social problems that people face in day to day life and that is the only reason why many people choose to serve people by becoming IAS.
I hope I was able to clear your query even though if you want any other information regarding the civil services or defence you can ask me in the comment section.
Hope you do well in future and serve our country.
Hi Nisha,

Admission to computer science to Delhi University is based on merit based cut off -the best of four percentage is considered.

Based on the overall information, compare the pros and cons of switching from economics to computers, and if you believe that you have the required interest and aptitude to change your subject, then only go for it.Focus on how it will help you achieve your long term goal.
Hope this helps.All the best.
Hope this helps
After your 12th grade you can do graduation in any field from any recognised university and can start your civil services preparation.
Good Luck
Hi Akshay,
Yes it is a good idea as in graduation you have ample time, so you can utilize it in a better way
But it should not be at the cost of your degree, that does not mean that your college degree can suffer
As graduation is compulsory for appearing in the exam.
Hope it helps :)

Hello Akshay !
As per many students reviews and their personal experiences, it can be said that Sarat Chandra IAS academy is the best.
You can consider the following points :-
1. It is the only academy managed by an IAS himself.
2. Many IAS / IPS officers visit this academy to share their real time problems and experiences which is helpful for the students.
3. It offers 3yrs integrated course in which the syllabus is covered in the 2 yrs and the 3rd yr is for revision.
4. Each student is given personalized support and their performance records are maintained.
Hope the answer was helpful !
