Hello Yasir
I researched a bit and found out that SSC and most government exams consider the result declaration date as the final qualifying year because that's when you officially passed.
So you should fill 2022 in your SSC MTS application but I will suggest verifying this with someone elder who has given these exams and knows them.
To know more about SSC MTS: SSC MTS
Thank You!!!

Hi Simran,
The SSC MTS form consists of these details to be filled:
Hello Neha,
According to the eligibility criteria of SSC MTS, the age of candidates should be 18 years to 25 years old (or 18 years to 27 years old for some posts) on the cut-off date of the official notification.
If you were born on 20/09/2007, you will turn 18 on 20/09/2025. You will be eligible only if the notification permits candidates who attain the age of 18 by or before that date. Please check the exact cut-off date in the currently published SSC MTS notification to ensure eligibility.
hi,
If your date of birth is 20 September 2007, you will turn 18 in September 2025. For the SSC MTS exam, the minimum age required is 18 years as of a specific cut-off date, which usually falls before the exam application closes, often around August. Since you will still be 17 at that time, you are not eligible to apply for the SSC MTS exam this year.
Hi Sumanth,
Unfortunately, the window to edit details of OTR was closed on 31st May, 2025. More importantly, your educational details can NOT be edited once you are OTR verified. But one thing you should be prepared of, is to be prepared with all required documents be it your diploma or degree certificate at the document verification stage.
You may also mail this issue to helpdesk-ssc@ssc.nic.in with your degree certificate to support your take. I suggest you to first mail this issue to SSC itself.
All the best!
Hello,
The Staff Selection Commission conducts the SSC MTS (Multi-Tasking Staff) exam, which is available to candidates who have completed Class 10 (Matriculation). The syllabus aims to evaluate a candidate's general aptitude and fundamental educational understanding.
It comprises four primary segments: General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Aptitude, General English, and General Awareness. The reasoning part covers subjects such as coding-decoding, analogies, classification, and sequences. The numerical skills portion includes fundamental math concepts such as percentages, decimals, ratios, time and labor, as well as profit and loss. General English evaluates your vocabulary, grammar, understanding, and sentence construction.
General Awareness encompasses current events, Indian history, geography, political science, and basic scientific knowledge. For effective preparation, concentrate on NCERT textbooks from Class 8 to 10, consistently read newspapers to stay updated on current events, and practice with past year question papers. Numerous online platforms provide complimentary notes and practice tests that match the SSC MTS syllabus.
Hope this helps. All the best!
