SCRA exam is scrapped now as it will not be conducted in upcoming years. For reference, you can go through the calender which is being published by the officials as its name is not there -

There will be no SCRA exam as Union Public Service Commissionhas scrapped the same so now it will not going to happen from 2018 onwards.
Hi Nitish, Would like to bring to your notice that SCRA conducted by UPSC has been discontinued since 2016. However if you wish to pursue Indian Railway Services of Mechanical Engineering you need to apper for the Engineer Services Examination. To read more abot the ESE please check the link
