RJS Competitive Exam 2023: The Rajasthan High Court Jodhpur will release the RJS notification 2023 on the official website. The exam authorities released an RJS notification 2023 regarding vacancies on February 3, 2023. As per the notice, there are 57 vacancies are announced. Rajasthan High Court conducts Rajasthan Judicial Service Competitive Examination to recruit suitable candidates for the legal positions/vacancies of Civil Judge. The RJS 2023 examination will be conducted in three stages – preliminary, mains and interview.
The Rajasthan Judicial Service Competitive Examination 2023 will consist of an objective type examination in which 70% weightage will be given to Law Paper I and II while the mains examination will consist of Law Paper I, II and Language Paper. 30% weightage will be given to proficiency in Hindi and English.
To qualify for the RJS 2023 main examination candidates of the General category have to secure 45% while SC/ST category candidates have to secure 40% marks in the preliminary examination. To qualify for interview,ca ndidate has to secure a minimum of 35% marks in each of the law papers and 40% marks in aggregate in the main examination. The final selection will be done on the basis of mains and interview marks secured by the candidates.

RJS Competitive Exam 2023 Eligibility Criteria
The Rajasthan Judicial Service exam aspirants should fulfill the eligibility criteria prescribed by the exam conducting body, Rajasthan High Court. Following are the primary eligibility criteria-
- Applicants must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidate must obtain a Bachelor degree in law from a recognised institute or university.
- Age Limit- Candidates must be less than or equal to 35 years. The minimum age to appear for the exam is 23 years.
- The SC and ST category applicants will get a relaxation of five years in the upper age limit.

- The application fee for the General/OBE (Creamy Layer) category candidates is Rs. 1000.
- The application fee for the candidates of the OBC category (Non-Creamy Layer) is Rs. 750.
- The application fee to be paid by SC, ST, and PWD category candidates is Rs. 500.

RJS Competitive Exam 2023 Exam Pattern
RJS Competitive Exam Preliminary Exam Pattern
Rajasthan High Court follows the three-stage recruitment process to select candidates. Those are-
- Preliminary Examination (Objective type questions)
- Main Examination (Subjective type questions)
- Personal Interview
The Preliminary Examination is a screening test. The marks obtained by candidates in the Preliminary Examination by the candidates decide their entry to the Main examination. However, the scores are not be counted for determining their final order of merit. The Preliminary Examination comprises objective type question in which 70 percent weightage will be given to the subjects prescribed in the syllabus pertaining to Law Paper-I and Law Paper-II and 30 percent weightage will be given to test proficiency in English and Hindi language.
- The total number of questions - 100.
- The subjects covered in the RJS Pre-examination are Law, English, and Hindi.
- Every question carries 1 mark, and the overall test is of 100 marks.
- The total duration of the exam for two hours.
- There is no negative marking in the question paper.
RJS Competitive Exam Main Exam Pattern
The main examination of RJS 2023 will consist of four subjective papers. Those are-
- Law- Paper-I: Marks allotted is 100 and time allotted is three hours
- Law- Paper-II: Marks allotted is 100 and time allotted is three hours
- Language- Paper-I: Hindi Essay- Marks allotted is 50 and time allotted is two hours
- Language- Paper- II: English Essay - Marks allotted is 50 and time allotted is two hours
RJS Competitive Exam 2023 Admit Card
Rajasthan High Court will release the RJS admit card 2023 in online mode on the official website. The RJS 2023 admit card will be released 10 to 15 days prior to the exam. The RJS Competitive examination admit card 2023 will be issued separately for all the states of exam. Candidates should download the online RJS admit card and bring it to the exam centre along with any one photo ID proof for verification purposes.

RJS Competitive Exam Preliminary Result
Rajasthan High Court releases the RJS prelims result 2023 in online mode. The result of RJS 2023 will be released on the official website. Candidates who appeared in the exam will be able to download the RJS 2023 prelims result in pdf format. Those who shortlisted in the RJS Competitive exam prelims result will be eligible to appear in the mains exam.
RJS Competitive Exam Main Result
Rajasthan High Court will declare the exam result 2023 of the RJS main examination in online mode. Test takers should know that the marks secured in the Preliminary examination will not be included for determining their final order of merit.
Test takers should obtain a minimum of 35 percent marks in each of the law papers and 40 percent marks in the aggregate score to qualify.
If a candidate belongs to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe category, he/she will be deemed to be eligible for interview if obtained a minimum of 30 percent marks in each of the Law papers and 35 percent marks in the aggregate score.
No candidate will be considered if he/she fails to obtain a minimum of 25 percent marks in the interview rounds.
RJS Competitive Exam 2023 Cutoff
Rajasthan High Court will release the RJS cut off 2023 in online mode on the official website. The RJS 2023 cut off will be released along with the declaration of result. The RJS cut off will be released for all the categories. Candidates must score the minimum RJS cut off to get shortlisted. The RJS Competitive examination cut off 2023 will be released separately for all the states of exam.

The selection process comprises two distinct layers. Those are-
- Main Examination
- Personality Test/Interview
While interviewing, a candidate will be tested with reference to his/her record at the School, College and University and his/her moral character, personality, and physique. The questions, which may be put forward, may be of a general nature and which might not necessarily be academic or legal. The candidate might face questions related to General Knowledge including current affairs. Marks will be given to applicants for their proficiency in the Rajasthani dialects and his/her knowledge about social customs/culture of Rajasthan. These scores will be added to the overall marks obtained in the written test by test takers.

First of all before start preparing for RJS ( Rajasthan Judicial Exam) you should know about the each aspect of this exam. By each aspect i mean to say syllabus of exam, exam pattern, all about it. And not only knowledge but deep understanding of this exam and particularly of syllabus is required because it remain a major factor during your preparation.
Another major factor is your interest and dedication which ensures your success and helps in overcoming all the hurdles.
Now your problem is where you live, there is not a coaching to guide you for this exam.
I must say that without self~study no one can clear any exam, agree that guidance is required during the preparation but for guidance you not need to go to offline coaching, you can access to online coaching and get the guidance or solutions to all your problems from there.

No, I do not think a law practice is mandatory. What it requires is that a candidate must hold a degree of Bachelor of Laws (Professional) of any University established by Law. There are some age limits, but apart from that there is no other restrictions.

As per the notification of Rajasthan Judicial Service 2020,it specifies the eligibility criteria as follows;
candidates must be 23 years old and less than or equal to 35 years as on 01-01-2020. For reserved categories like SC/ST there's relaxation of five years.
