The authorities released the NIACL AO 2025 application form on August 7, 2025 online  at newindia.co.in. Candidates can apply for the NIACL AO until August 30, 2025. Before filling out the application form of NIACL AO 2025, applicants must go through the eligibility criteria.

How to apply for NIACL AO 2025?

• Open the NIACL AO official website - newindia.co.in

• Next, click on the “Recruitment” section available on the home page. 

• Click on the link “Recruitment of Administrative Officer (Scale I) 2025”.

• Next, click on the “New Sign-Up” button for registration and generate a new registration number & password. 

• Now, click on the “Apply Online” link. 

• Next, fill in all the asked details, then pay the application fee, and upload the required documents.  

• Then, click on the “Submit” button 

• Download the application form for future reference.

The conducting authority determines the NIACL AO eligibility criteria 2025 on the basis of the nationality, age and educational qualification of the candidates. Candidates must fullfill the eligibility criteria of NIACL AO 2025  in order to fill the online application form.

•    Candidates must be Indian citizens.

•    or a subject of Nepal/Bhutan.   

•    or a Tibetan migrant who moved to India before January 1, 1962 to settle down permanently.

•  Candidates of Indian origin who migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

The minimum NIACL AO age limit for general category candidates is 21 years and the upper age limit is 30 years. However, the exam conducting authority provides certain relaxations on the upper age limit as per the category of the candidates.

NIACL AO 2025 – Educational Qualification 

Candidates must hold a graduation/post-graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University. They must also hold a minimum 60% mark in the graduation examination for general candidates and minimum 55% marks for SC/ST/PWD candidates.

NIACL AO exam pattern for prelims

The questions will be asked from three sections in NIACAL AO preliminary exam such as English, Reasoning, and Numerical/Quantitative Aptitude. Each section will have 20 minutes section time. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each. ¼ mark will be negative for each wrong answer.

NIACL AO 2025 Exam Pattern for Mains

NIACL AO Mains Exam is divided into 2 Sections such as Objective and Descriptive Type and the candidate has to clear each section separately. The duration of the objective-type paper will be 2 hours and 30 minutes for explanation. There will be 200 multi chose question-type and 2 essay/letter writing questions. The descriptive test will be conducted in English only. ¼ mark will be negative for each wrong answer.

Descriptive Test

The duration of the NIACL AO Descriptive test is 30 minutes and it will carry 30 marks. It will be an English language test – letter and essay writing. NIACL AO descriptive test will be held in English in online.

The exam conducting authority released the admit card of NIACL AO 2025 on September 8, 2025 in online mode. The intimation to download the NIACL AO 2025 admit card will be sent to the candidate's registered email and mobile number. In order to download NIACL AO admit card, candidates must use their registration number and password. The admit card of NIACL AO contains the name of the candidates, date of birth, date and time of the examination, and venue of the examination. 

Candidates must check the details mentioned on the admit card of the NIACL AO carefully. A printout of the admit card must be taken to the exam centre on the day of exam for verification purposes. Along with the NIACL AO admit card 2025, candidates must carry one of the valid photo ID proofs like aadhaar card, PAN card, passport, driving license, and voters ID proof.

The recruitment authority releases the NIACL AO 2025 answer key after the completion of the online exam. The NIACL AO answer key is released on the official website only. The answer key of NIACL AO is released separately for each stage of the examination.

The exam board will release the NIACL AO 2025 result in online on the official website. The NIACL AO result 2025 will be released in the form of PDF. The NIACL AO result is released separately for all the stages of the exam. Candidates who qualify in the prelims exam of NIACL AO are eligible to appear in the mains exam.
