NIACL AO Application Form 2019 - The New India Assurance Company has ended the application process of NIACL AO 2019 on December 26. However, candidates can take printout of the NIACL AO application form January 11. Candidates could fill and submit the NIACL AO 2019 application form in online mode along with payment of fees. Before filling NIACL AO 2019 application form, candidates must make sure that they meet the eligibility criteria of the exam. The NIACL AO application procedure included registration, filling up the basic information, payment of fees, uploading scanned photograph and signature, left thumb impression and other details. The application fees for NIACL AO 2019 was Rs. 600 for General and other categories and Rs. 100 for SC/ST/PWD candidates. NIACL AO Application Form 2019

NIACL conducts NIACL AO for around 312 Officers (Generalist & Specialists) in Scale I vacancies. The exam will be conducted in two phases – I & II. NIACL AO Application Form 2019 – Documents required for online registration

All applicants should have the required documents before they fill the online application form of NIACL AO 2019. The documents required to apply online are given below.

  • Valid email ID which should be kept active till the declaration of results

  • Scanned photograph and signature as per the specifications

  • Credit/debit/net banking details for online payment

NIACL AO Application Form 2019 – Step-wise Procedure

The application form of NIACL AO 2019 can be filled in online mode only in 5 steps.

Each of the above-mentioned steps has been explained below:

Step 1: Online registration and filling up of basic details

  • Click on the link to apply for NIACL AO.

  • The link will be redirected to a new page and candidates have to select ‘Click Here for new registration’ to register online.

  • For registration, candidates will have to enter basic details such as name, category, date of birth, email ID, contact number and academic details among others

  • A provisional user ID and password will be generated and displayed on the screen. Applicants must note down the registration id and password 

Step 2: Upload scanned Photograph, Signature and Thumb Impression

  • The second step of NIACL AO application form is to upload the scanned images of their photograph and signature in the online application form.

  • The images should be as per the required dimensions and size/format.

  • Candidates should ensure that both the images are as per the prescribed format and uploaded successfully in the application form of NIACL AO 2019.

  • Guidelines for scanning of photograph, signature and thumb impression

  • Photograph Image:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture.

  • Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-colored, preferably white, background.

  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face

  • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows

  • If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye"

  • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen.

  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.

  • Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)

  • Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb

  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning.

  • If the photo is not uploaded at the place of Photo, Admission for Examination will be rejected / denied. Candidates will be responsible for the same.

  • Candidate should also ensure that photo is uploaded at the place of photo and signature at the place of signature. If photo in place of photo and signature in place of signature is not uploaded properly, candidate will not be allowed to appear for the exam.

  • Candidate must ensure that Photo to be uploaded is of required size and the face should be clearly visible.

Signature Image:

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.

  • The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.

  • The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black ink

  • The signature, left thumb impression and the hand written declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person

  • The signature will be used to put on the Call Letter and wherever necessary

  • If the Applicant’s signature on the attendance sheet or Call letter, signed at the time of the examination, does not match the signature uploaded, the applicant will be disqualified.

  • Signature/hand written declaration in capital letters shall not be accepted.

Left-Hand Thumb Impression

  • The applicant has to put his left thumb impression on a white paper with black or blue ink.

  • The left thumb impression should be of the applicant and not by any other person.

  • File type - jpg / jpeg

  • Dimensions: 240 x 240 pixels in 200 DPI

  • File size -  20 Kb – 50 Kb

  • Applicants should sign with a black pen on a white paper (in a box of 2 cm X 5 cm)

  • The signature must be done by the applicant and not by any other person

  • The applicant’s signature obtained on the admission letter and attendance sheet at the time of the examination should match with the uploaded signature. In case of mismatch the candidate may be disqualified

Step 3: Filling up educational information and other details

Applicants will have to enter the details of educational qualifications (graduation, high school.,etc), domicile, category, nationality, state, details if appeared earlier in NIACL AO or not in third part of NIACL AO application form.

Step 4: Preview of the application form

  • Once the candidates have entered all the information as asked in the application form they should preview the details filled by them in the application form. 

  • Before submission of their applications, applicants should use the ‘Save and Next’ facility to save and verify all the details. 

  • Applicants should check and correct mistakes if any in the NIACL AO 2019 application form

  • Candidates are advised to carefully fill in the online application as no change in the filled application form will be entertained by final submission

  • Visually Impaired applicants should be extra cautious while filling the application form and should get all the details verified by some trustworthy to ensure that the same are correct prior to final submission

  • Details like name of the candidates, parent’s name should be entered as mentioned in the matriculation/birth certificate. Any change/alteration found may disqualify the candidature

  • Validate your details and ave your application by clicking the ‘Validate your Details’ and ‘Save & Next’ button

  • Modify details, if required, and click on ‘Final Submit’ only after verifying and ensuring that the photograph, signature uploaded and other details filled by you are correct

Hand-written declaration:

  • Handwritten declaration content is to be as expected.

  • A handwritten declaration should not be written in capital letters.

  • The applicant has to write the declaration in English clearly on a white paper with black or blue ink.

  • The handwritten declaration should be of the applicant and not by any other person.

  • Handwritten declaration - file type is jpg / jpeg ( 50 kb – 100 kb)

  • Dimensions - 800 x 400 pixels in 200 dpi (preferred for required quality) i.e 10 cm x 5 cm (width x height)

Step 5: Payment of application fees

  • Upon successful submission of the NIACL ao 2019 application form, candidates will be redirected to a new page for payment of application fees

  • Pay the requisite fee/intimation charges through the online mode only

  • The payment can be made by using debit cards (repay/visa/master card/Maestro), credit cards, internet banking, imps, cash cards/ mobile wallets.

  • After submitting your payment information in the online application form, candidates will have to wait for the intimation from the server. do not press back or refresh button in order to avoid double charge 

  • Upon successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated

Q. What should I do if there is a lot of delay in accessing the application form page?

A. Based on various factors like Internet Speed, a large number of applicants trying to register the application at the same time etc. Candidates must retry after some time gap or during off-peak hours, especially during the night.

Q. How do I know that my application is registered?

 A. Successful Registration is indicated by the Page displayed after clicking the Submit Button

indicating the generated registration number and password. Please note down the same care

and preserve it. If you do not preserve it, you will not be able to re-print the application and download

the call letter.

Q. I did not receive the email intimation for registration of my NIACL AO application form?

A. Registration number and password are also sent by auto-response Confirmation emails. Check spam emails if you did not receive any email regarding the registration process.

Q. How do I re-confirm that my application is saved?

A. Candidates are advised to visit the Page for re-print of application, generate the Printout and preserve the soft copy and hard copy (printout) of the application.

Q. I got blank/zero registration number after submission of NIACL AO application form 2019. What should I do?

A. In case candidates have got zero (0) registration number with a valid password. Candidates are advised to re-register the application and check the printout through re-print application.

Q. After filling up the application form, I got Blank Screen / Internet got disconnected / My PC closed/hanged/ shutdown. Is my application saved/registered?

A: If any of the above happens to try re-print option if your application is not saved then re-apply.

Q. What details should I retain while replying to auto-response emails?

A: Candidates must reply back the confirmation emails for the genuine problem, please retain details on the email registration number and password.
