Do NDA exams will stop occuring after this agniveer scheme??

Sandesh 28th Jul, 2022

Hi there!

No, NDA exams will not stop as due to Agni veer scheme launched, as because these are totally different exams for different category of posts in Indian defense forces.

As, the NDA is conducted by UPSC for admission in Army, Navy and Air-forces wings for the post of category A officers.

However as per the new scheme of Indian government of Agni veer, it is been conducted for short service of 4 years in Army, Navy and Airforce for the post of Armed forces.

Hence these two exams are totally different and will not be affected by each other exams.

If you want to know about the exam, you can check the article

I am may 18 2004 so am I eligible for 2023 nda exam

Sharon Rose Student Expert 25th Jul, 2022

Hello,

To apply for NDA 1 2023 a candidate must not be born earlier than July 2, 2004 and not late than July 1, 2007. To apply for NDA 2 2023 a candidate must not be born earlier than January 2, 2005 and not late than January 1, 2008. Considering the date of birth criteria you are not eligible to apply for NDA 1 2023 and NDA 2 2023. You have already exhausted all the chances you have considering the date of birth criteria. Your last chance is to apply for NDA 2 2022 provided you must have passed or appearing in 10+2 examination. If you have passed/appear 10+2 examination with Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry then you can opt for Indian Naval Academy, Indian Military Academy and Air Force Academy. If you have passed/appearing 10+2 examination in any stream then you are eligible to join Indian Military Academy only.
