Hello Aspirant

The eligibility criteria for the NDA exam is that you should have passed 12th or any equivalent examination from a UGC-recognized Board of Examination or should be appearing for it. Only unmarried men/women are eligible between the age group of 16.5 and 19.5 years.

Since you were born in 2007, in 2026 you'll be 19 years old. That might be your only chance at clearing NDA, in one go. I'll suggest that you appear for the NDA exam in 2025 also, just to see what the exam pattern is, and how you handle the time management issue that many candidates face.

All the best!

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing great.

As per your question, see don't prepare for the exam which you wish to not give. To score good in an exam, not only in NDA, firstly write down the syllabus of the exam and divide them into topics. After that, prepare as per the topic and practice the formulae with similar type of questions. Then you will surely be able to crack the NDA exam.

Hope this helps!

Hello Aspirant,

Regarding the question you asked, I would like to clarify that you are in fact eligible to apply to The National Defence Academy (NDA) once you have finished your 12th grade.
In the official announcement, the Union Public Service Commission specifies the NDA qualifying requirements for 2022. Before completing the NDA test form, candidates should confirm their eligibility for the NDA 2022. The eligibility requirements for the NDA exam 2022 include a number of elements, including nationality, age restriction, educational background, marital status, and others.

You can take the coaching for one year but mind that there is no age relaxation.
Age Restrictions: 16.5 to 19.5 years for all categories; the NDA exam does not allow for age relaxation.
Make sure you don't exceed the age.
