The duties of a clerk are to issue cheque books,marketing of banking schemes such as loan, maintaing balance register,tallying the information daily, data entry, handling deposits and cash withdrawals, ensuring payment clearances, typing work.

IBPS conducts a written exam in multiple banks to fill the vacancies for this post. If you want to aplly for this examination, you need to fill online application provided at the IBPS site.
There are two exams for IBPS exam: preliminary and mains. There is no interview process for this.The preliminary exam is an online exam in which there are total 100 number of questions.The mains question paper consists of 190 questions which are to be attempted in a particular frame of time. Also there is penalty for answering wrong.There is also age criteria that the candidate should be between 20 to 28. The candidate should also possess minimum qualification of graduation from a renowned college or institute.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts IBPS Clerk in online mode across India for selecting candidates in its clerical cadre in 19 Public Sector Banks. Some government and private financial organisations also accept IBPS score for filling up their clerical cadre posts in their respective organisations. The exam of IBPS Clerk is conducted in two phases – Preliminary and Mains. Those who are graduate and between 20 to 28 years of age are eligible to apply for IBPS Clerk. Only those candidates who qualify preliminary exam phase can appear for the mains exam. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the mains examination. All the shortlisted candidates after the mains exam are recruited at various banks in their clerical cadre.

You are not eligible for the IBPS clerk exam the graduation degree is required for the exam, the minimum age limit for the IBPS clerk exam is 20-28 years. you should have basics computer knowledge should have verbel and written proficiency in local language of the state which you belong to.
You are not eligible for clerk in SBI also it also require the graduation and the age limit is also same 20-28 years. The basic pay for clerk in SBI is 28k, total vacancies in this year are around 15k .

There are 3 factors that majorly determine your ranking in the exam - the total number of applicants for the exam, the total number of vacancies available for the exam and the difficulty level of the exam. Since the results for this year’s exam will be out by January end, for your reference, the expected overall cutoff for hearing handicap category, based kn pervious years’ cutoff is 37. The actual cutoff maybe around this figure.
The expected range of the cutoff for Final Selection for your category is 25.5(minimum scores) to 40.4 (maximum scores).

you have to complete certain criteria like age as between 20 to 28 have to lie in between and you must possess a graduation certificate, last semester one can also apply.
you have to register in the link provided by them at the time of registration with your basic information photo, signature, left thumb scan, and written sample.
after then you will have a message on your communication number or email.
to have a mock test experience they have provided a test also on their website, or for advance preparation, you can have

IBPS clerk exam 2018 had already released its notification on 18th Sep 2018 and had completed its prelims exam and going to have mains on 20th January 2019,

Follow these preparation tips to crack IBPS Clerk 2019 Exam:
