Iam 20th August 1998 born. Iam I eligible for afcat 1 2022 for flying branch

Hello Harsh,

The age eligibility criteria for AFCAT is as such:

Flying Branch through AFCAT and NCC Special Entry : Age of aspirants must be between 20 and 24 years as of January 1, 2022. There is upper age relaxation form candidates having valid and current commercial pilot license issued by DGCA. The relaxation is till 26 years.

Ground Duty (Technical & Non-Technical) Branch : Aspirants must be between 20 and 26 years, as of January 1, 2022.

since you will turn 24 on 24th August 2022 and therefore you are eligible.

Dear aspirant !!

Hope you are doing great !  Eligibility criteria: Age - 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course) . Upper age limit for Candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot Licence issued by DGCA (India) is relaxed up to 26 years(at the time of commencement of course). Gender - Men and Women.

Don't focus on the year and age ,just work hard , don't waste your time if you want to acheive your goals ,work very hard , finsih your graduation first and then think of it .

my height is exactly 152 cm. can I eligible for Air Force?

As you want to know about the height needs in air force then I want to tell you that if you have 152cm height then you are not eligible for airmen because minimum height requirement is 152.5 so it is not possible for you to join airforce but this is not last you still have a lot of options to show your strength and skills.

can a up board student with pcm in 10+2 start preparing for afcat exam?

Dear Neeraj,

Definitely you can start preparing for the AFCAT entrance at any age or class and there is no boundation of the board. Any student from any recognised board can give any entrance exam.

Eligibility

  • Candidate age must be between 20 to 24 and only unmarried males and females are allowed.
  • Minimum 60% in your 12th board with maths and physics as a compulsory subject.
  • For the flying branch you need to complete your graduation in BE/B.tech course with minimum 60% course.
  • And for ground duty you just need to complete your graduation from any stream with minimum 60% marks.

Hello,

AFCAT eligibility criteria are specified by the Indian Air Force in the detailed notification form. Eligibility are as follows:-

  • Age limit :- 20 to 24 years
  • Marital status:- Single
  • Qualification:- 60% on boards and graduation

So , you are surely eligible for AFCAT and take a Flying branch.

I have 60% in 12th with PCM and now i am pursuing betch from matalurgical engineering, in which group of AFCAT i am eligible, and please tell me which defence exam i am eligible ?

Dear aspirant!

Hope you are doing great. If you are pursuing btech then after finishing it you can apply for all those exam of defence which need graduation like cda,afcat and also other than defence you can apply for CGL,upsc ,SI etc and if your age is 16.5 to 19.5 them you can apply for nda, xgroup etc .

Eligibility criteria for IAF AFCAT is as follows:

FOR A GRADUATE:


As a Graduate/ Engineer, you can enter the Flying branch through the Air Force Academy. The following are the three modes of entry for Graduates/ Engineers to join the Flying branch:

CDSE (COMBINED DEFENCE SERVICES EXAMINATION) (FOR MEN ONLY)
  1. Men can enter through this mode of entry and will get a Permanent Commission.
  2. Eligibility criteria:

    • Age - 20 to 24 years (at the time of commencement of course)
    • Nationality – Indian
    • Marital Status - Single
    • Gender - Men only.
    • Educational Qualifications

      • Graduate (Three Year Course) in any discipline from a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level)/BE/B Tech (Four Year Course).
      • Final Year/semester students are also eligible to apply, provided they produce Degree certificate issued by the University as per the date stipulated in the advertisement.
      • No Percentage Bar for CDSE entry.
  3. Advertisement Schedule: Advertisements are released by UPSC in the months of November and August.

FOR MEN AND WOMEN:

If you are an NCC Special Entry candidate then you require minimum of 50% in each Maths and Physics at 10+2 Examination level.

If you are a graduate and an SCC Candidate then the above criteria applies and you need to have 60% or equivalent marks at the time of graduation.

I have 10+ Diploma(3years)+B.sc. Can I appear for AFCAT Ground duty ?

Hello,

Yes, you are for AFCAT Ground Duly (Non-local) if you have passed Bachelor's degree from a recognized board. In Ground Duty (Non-Technical) you are eligible to apply for ADMINISTRATION BRANCH and LOGISTICS BRANCH. The eligibility criteria is that you must have passed Bachelor's Degree (Minimum three year degree course) in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks or equivalent or cleared section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India from a recognized university with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent. The age must be in between 20 to 26 Years for Graduates and Post Graduates (at the time of commencement of course). Candidates below the age of 25 years must be Unmarried.

Hello,

To be eligible for AFCAT you must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and Physics with minimum 50% aggregate marks in each subject from a recognized board. You must have also passed 3 year Bachelor's Degree or 4 year B.E/B.Tech with minimum 60% aggregate marks from a recognized board or University. You may not have studied Mathematics/Physics in 10+2 level so you will not be eligible to appear for AFCAT. If you have studied Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 level and score minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics individually you are eligible to apply provided you must have passed Bio-Technology with minimum 60% aggregate marks.
