Hello,

For integrated courses (single degree without permission to exit and lateral entry), the minimum duration must be as per prevailing UGC guidelines with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together. There is no specific discipline from which a candidate must pass PG. You can pass PG from any subject with the requisite marks to be eligible.

As a Graduate/ Engineer, one can enter the Flying branch through the Air Force Academy. The following are the three modes of entry for Graduates/ Engineers to join the Flying branch:
Thank You.
To clear CDS, you must earn at least 20 marks in all subjects, which is the sectional cutoff, and 115 points in all three papers combined, which are English, General Knowledge/Studies/Awareness, and Maths. Of course, if you want to join the Air Force, you should aim for a score of roughly 145/300. However, for Army and Navy, a score of 115/300 should sufficient, though the higher the number, the better.
English - Solve all Previous years papers of CDS
GK - Lucent’s or Arihant's General Knowledge and Study Capsules for Polity and Geography should do the trick if you’re lazy, otherwise I’d recommend NCERT (Classes 9–12) + Indian Polity by M Laxmikanth also The Hindu Newspaper for Current Affairs and Editorials.
Mathematics: Quantitative Aptitude by R S Aggarwal and M Tyra for high speed shortcuts will work best.
For TGS you just have to prepare for ssb.
Afcat- exam is more static Knowledge based.
Maths (18 ques): basic 10th level Maths is asked
Gk: static gk based on current affairs
English : solve previous year papers
Reasoning : You can solve any book for reasoning as practice is the key here.

Garud Commando is the special force unit that belongs to the Indian Air Force. The upper age limit for Non-commissioned ranks is 23 year. There is no information available regarding upper age limit for officers however, for ground duty officers, it is 26 and ground duty officers are the officers who volunteer for Garud. So, there is a probability that 26 years is the maximum age limit for officers.
Garud Commandos are trained using Special Forces techniques so that they can handle critical and emergency situations. There are two major processes of selecting Garud Commando, non- commissioned posts which are filled through airmen selection process and commissioned posts which are filled through ground duty trainees of GDOC.
When it comes to recruitment of AFCAT for ground duty(non-technical branches) then BCom Graduate with 60% aggregate from a recognized university are eligible to apply for accounts department, other than this even for education/administration, candidates who have passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university securing 60% aggregate are eligible to apply, to know more details regarding this, visit our page at https://competition.careers360.com/articles/afcat-eligibility-criteria
You are eligible to apply for AFCAT if you have studied Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 and scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics individually and you must have passed 3 year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with minimum 60% aggregate from a recognized board. You are eligible to apply even if you are in final year of qualifying examination that is B.Sc. So check the above mentioned criteria before applying for AFCAT. Your age must be in between 20-24 years if you are applying for Flying branch. For Ground Duty non-technical the age limit is 20-26 years.
I hope you are doing fine, Of course you can join as a garud commando in iaf. For that you have to first join iaf as a ground duty officer i.e admin, logistics, meteorology & technical (ae & am) . After becoming an officer you can volunteer for the garud. As far as maximum age is considered then it's 23 for non commissioned ranks but for officers no info is available but as maximum age allowed for ground duty officers is 26 and ground duty officers are the ones who volunteer for garud so, I think it's 26 years for officers.
I hope you find this information helpful. I wish you all the best for your future.
Good Luck
