Chhattisgarh Police Sub Inspector exam is held on two rounds. CG Police SI Recruitment Chhattisgarh Sub Inspector Exam (session 2024)
Chhattisgarh Police has issued minimum requirements that an applicant needs to satisfy in order to be eligible for selection in the Chhattisgarh Police. The eligibility criteria for Chhattisgarh Police SI exam is given below:
Age: The candidate must be older than 21 years of age and younger than 25 years. SC/ST and OBC (Non-creamy Layer) will be given a relaxation of 5 years.
Educational Qualifications:
Applicants applying for Sub Inspector must be graduates from a recognised university.
Applicants applying for Sub Inspector (Fingerprint/Documents Under Question) must be graduates in B.Sc. (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics).
Applicants applying for Sub Inspector (Computer) must be graduates in BCA or B.Sc. (Computer).
Applicants applying for Sub Inspector (Telecommunications) must have degree/diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Telecommunication Engineering.
Physical Qualifications:
Men should have a minimum height of 168 cms and women should have a height of 153 cms.
Normal chest size for men should be 81 cms and expanded chest size should be 86 cms. There should be a difference of 5 cms in expanded and normal chest size.
Applicants must not have a high colour vision or squint eyes. Their near vision should be normal and distant vision should be 6/6 for at least one eye and not poorer than 6/9 for the other without correction.
Applicants should not have any physical deformities. They should also be free from chronic diseases or diseases which will be disruptive in their duty such as hernia, piles, diabetes, respiratory diseases etc.
