Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission shared the TNPSC Syllabus 2025 online on the official website. The TNPSC 2025 syllabus can be downloaded from tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates attempting the TNPSC Group 2 exam must refer to the syllabus to get a good idea of the topics covered by the syllabus. The TSPSC Group 2 Exam is held in 2 stages, the prelims round and the mains round.

As per the TNPSC Group 2 2025 exam pattern, there are three phases - prelims, mains, and interview round. The exam pattern of TNPSC Group 2 gives insights related to the different sections of the exam on which the question paper will be based, the marking scheme, the total number of questions asked, and the time duration of the exam. The prelims exam is objective in nature and the questions are from General Studies, Aptitude and Mental Ability Test and General Tamil / General English. The total marks are 300 while the mains exam is descriptive in nature and marks are 300. The Interview is conducted for a total of 40 marks.
There are three stages in the exam: Preliminary, Mains and Interview.

There are no negative marks in TNPSC Group 2.
