Hello,
UPSC and CAT are completely different field, both the exams are highly competitive and in recent times it has become more so, hence I would say focus on one specific field, if you want a career in management go for MBA, the eligibility criteria for CAT is passed bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university securing 50% aggregate, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved categories, on the other hand to appear for UPSC there is no minimum aggregate required you just need to pass graduation in any discipline from a recognized university, and you are required to attain 21 years as on 1st August of the appearing year, IAS is an highly coveted job profile, and you will require higher level of dedication, commitment, perseverance, single-minded focus on your part, apart from power and prestige that comes along the job profile you will play an important role in the development of the country by contributing in various aspects, you should take your time and then only take decision accordingly but preparing for both is very difficult, more so because there is no areas of commonality in terms of exam pattern, syllabus, or even job profile, what you can do is as you're still in college, explore your areas of interest, you can do so by volunteering, or apply internships, and by going through this training you will gradually get to know what's your calling, if you're more inclined towards a career in management, then go for MBA, if not then you can go ahead with IAS, whatever it is, give your self enough time to explore the various options and then only decide accordingly.
