According to me you should plan for professional degree in BA level as a plan B because if you are not able to clear the civil services exam than you can start your job accordingly

Start by completing all the basic NCERT's , from class 6th to 10th and along with them  start reading The Hindu or Indian Express , and maintain notes. Once you are done with the basic NCERT's you can move over to advanced books. You can also refer to some government

You should first see the subjects that you can opt if you are aspiring to appear for the civil services entrance exam. Go through the syllabus and past years question papers. It is imperative for one to be through with the NCERT books from Class eight to XII.

If you have target for Upsc exam than you can opt any of the these option as bachelor degree from arts or commerce

Law
Psychology
Philosophy
Economics Hons
Sociology

But according.to me you should pursue professional degree as plan B if you are not able to

Dear

Diploma won't be counted as Bachelor degree . For MBA you should have bachelor degree or B.tech degree after diploma.

And for IAS i don't recommend this diploma .
You can check UPSC website and its syllabus accordingly you may opt degree related to their syllabus.
