There is no need to worry about tatoo for being eligible for Indian administrative services examination. This is because the Examination authority union Public Service Commission has not made any criteria related to tattoo for giving examination of Indian administrative Services.
The most basic eligibility criteria which you need to satisfy is to complete your graduation or post graduation from a recognised University for being eligible for giving Indian administrative services examination. There is also no restriction of how much marks you are getting in your graduation. The only thing you need is to just complete your graduation by passing it.

Hello aspirant
Hope you are doing good in your life and nice to see you that you want to become an IAS officer.
So as you are asking that what should you take in your intermediate class if you want to become an IAS officer. Just listen one line take whatever excites you and in whatever you feel interested.
This is because UPSC welcomes every candidate from every domain and there is no any restriction on the basis of of stream. So you are free to take anything and to enter into any stream according to your interest.
But if you are asking about the stream which would help you in your UPSC civil services examination then I would suggest you to take Humanities stream as most of the syllabus you will be covering from very early age.
Hope it helps you!
Thank you !
Here on your doubt I want to tell you the minimum eligibility criteria for UPSC CSE is that you must have an undergraduate degree from any recognised University and the most important thing is that UPSC doesn't ask for the stream of graduation. It welcomes every candidate, doesn't matter from where and in which stream they are and completed their graduation.
So to become an IAS officer you must have to clear UPSC CSE and for that you must have an undergraduate degree from any recognised University and for that you can do whatever you want and in whichever you feel interested.
So to start your preparation you just enter your first year of college and do to preparation according to the latest syllabus of UPSC CSE.
For more information about the eligibility criteria, syllabus and other information I'm attaching a link you can refer to it:

Both are the honorable jobs for you to perform. However the IAS is much powerful than IPS because after completing 8 years in Indian administrative Service you can become the district magistrate of your city in which you are posted and which makes you the top authority of the city. However I am mentioning below the points of comparison between Indian administrative Service and Indian police service for making a clear understanding for you:
Indian administrative Service:
Indian police service:
It can be said that both of the positions are good but district magistrate IAS avails more facilities than IPS.
