you just need to manage your time wisely, you should take out atleast 3 to 4 hours from your daily routine and be calm as stress wont change anything.

Any degree or graduation/post-graduation in any subject is alright. For higher education, one should always pursue the subject which one finds interesting and is comfortable with. Hello Siddhi, For UPSC you have to 1st clear graduation (Final year graduate student can too apply for UPSC exam)... Topics they cover:

prelims - GS paper (History, Sci & tech, Polity, Geography, Art & culture, current affair, and environment)

Mains - Total 9 paper (4 GS paper, 1 essay

In my opinion you should go for ARTS, that would be really helpfull for the preparation , as you can easily cover history and other subjects that comes as a major in the IAS exam.
