To become an IAS , all you need is hardwork and smart study. If you have any financial issues , then this can not stop you from becoming an IAS. Many poor students qualify IAS eveery year and get good ranks as well.
So , you can do self study for IAS .You can also clear IAS without joining a coaching.

If affordable , then you can buy some common preparation books for indian economy , general awareness etc.
If you are considering a long term preparation, then I advise you to go through NCERT books of all sorts from Class 9th onwards. Social Science, History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, General Science, Mathematics and English. You should read these books at least once. If you want a quick preparation, then go for only Economics and Political Science NCERT. Best of Luck.

the basic pay of entry-level IAS officers is Rs. 56100. Allowances like Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA) and Travel Allowance (TA) will be extra. The salary will increase as experience increases. The basic pay of Cabinet Secretary is fixed at Rs.2,50,000.

The UPSC Civil Services (IAS) syllabus is divided into three sections in a line with the three phases of Civil Services IAS Exam i.e. IAS Prelims, IAS Mains and IAS Interview (PT)
Let's start with Prelims there's GS paper 1 and 2.

General Studies Paper II (CSAT) [Qualifying]
Marks: 200 marks
Duration: 2 hours
1. Reading Comprehension
2. Interpersonal skills including communication skills;
3. Logical reasoning and analytical ability
4. Decision making and problem-solving ability
5. General mental ability
6. Basic numeracy (numbers and their relations, orders of magnitude, etc.) (Class X level), Data interpretation (charts, graphs, tables, data sufficiency etc. - Class X level)
7. English Language Comprehension skills (Class X level).
8. Questions relating to English Language Comprehension skills of Class X level (last item in the Syllabus of Paper-II) will be tested through passages from English language only without providing Hindi translation thereof in the question paper.
Never join SSC coaching for UPSC preparation. They don't have regular faculties , infrastructure,study material,good test series.
If you wish you can join the coaching but on your own risk. Also the best coachings for IAS preparation are in Delhi, so if you can then try to get coaching in Delhi.
