You can definitely appear for SBI PO examination even if you have got selected for the SBI Clerk exam. Not only this, you can appear for any other examination if you wish to. There is no such restrictions on it.
Yes off-course it is enough for appearing in SBI Clerk as well. While preparing for any bank exam, more or less the syllabus remains the same. Since the PO exam has a slightly higher standard, it would definitely help you to crack the Clerical exam easily.
