As per the eligibility criteria of SBI PO, candidates must be between 21 to 30 years of age for general category. Since you have exceeded this age limit by 2 months, you are not eligible to appear for SBI PO exam. You can go through SBI PO eligibility criteria

You can definitely appear for SBI PO examination even if you have got selected for the SBI Clerk exam. Not only this, you can appear for any other examination if you wish to. There is no such restrictions on it.
Yes off-course it is enough for appearing in SBI Clerk as well. While preparing for any bank exam, more or less the syllabus remains the same. Since the PO exam has a slightly higher standard, it would definitely help you to crack the Clerical exam easily.
The official notification of SBI Po is scheduled to be out by the month of April, but you can start your preparation even now. It'll give you ample amount of time in order to do well in exam.
