Hi

If you are in class 11th right now you can't appear for NDA examination.

This is because,

One can appear for NDA exam  either after 12th or in 12th board examination appearing year.

Rigght now in 2022 you are in class 11th means you will be giving your class 11th examination in 2023 and then will be giving your class 12th board examination in 2024 but unfortunately with your date of birth you will not be eligible for NDA 2024

In simple words,

No, you are not eligible for NDA -1&2, 2024

This is because,

To be eligible for nda -1,2024 examination , you should have born between 2nd July 2005 to 1st July , 2008 but you fail to fulfill this criteria with your mentioned date of birth

I was born on nov 2005 so how many attempt are left for me excluding nda 2 2022 . I have two attempt of nda 1,2 of 2023 or only only one attempt of nda 1 2023

For the preparation of NDA, you need to first go through the physical eligiblty, it is available on the official website. Next, check the syllabus, collect books that you will require for the preparation of the exam. For general exam, read news from The Hindu or The Times of India and keep your static and current affairs in check and be absolutely focused. ALL THE BEST!

Hello Aspirant,

No you will not be eligible for NDA 1 2023 but you can appear for NDA 2 2023.

Because as per your DoB you will be of 16 years old by December 2023 and also your DoB does not lie in the period of July 2, 2004 to July 1, 2007 so according to your age you will not be eligible for the NDA 1 2023, so you cannot appear for NDA 1 2023 but can appear for NDA 2 2023 and for your reference the complete eligibility criteria for NDA is mentioned below :-

>>> Either you should be an Indian National or a subject of Nepal or a subject of Bhutan or people of Indian origin migrated from Zaire, Ethiopia, East African Countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania, Malawi, Uganda, Burma, Pakistan, Zambia, Sri Lanka and Vietnam to settle in India or Tibetan refugees came to India, to settle in India before January 1, 1962

>>> For NDA 1 2023 the age should be 15.5-18.5 years old and should have born in between July 2, 2004 to July 1, 2007.

To get into NDA , you need to qualify NDA examination for which you will become eligible in 12th board examination appearing year.

Through NDA examination you can get into

  • Indian Army

  • Indian Navy and

  • Indian Air Force

If you want to get into Indian Navy & Indian Air Force,  then you need to choose science with physics, chemistry & Maths in 11th. For Indian Army you can choose any stream i. e arts, commerce, science

see There is no minimum required marks for NDA ,the only requirement is that you should have passed class 12 .Candidates are required to score a minimum of around 25% marks in each subject to clear the NDA Written Examination.

English communication is not only important SSB or Defence only but also plays important role in other sectors of work. All the verbal and written tests in SSB are conducted in the English medium. One must have good spoken English in order to do well in the interview. ao your English should be good and in well mannered.

The exam carries a total of 900 marks and based on cut-offs from previous year exams, a score of 450 or more is required to crack the exam. overall if you get 450+ no then congratulations you are selected for viva then.
