kya NDA me reasoning pucha jata hai

Prachi Kumari 5th Jul, 2024

Hi,

Yes, reasoning is a part of the National Defence Academy (NDA) exam. The NDA exam includes two papers: Mathematics and General Ability Test (GAT). The GAT paper is divided into two sections:

1. English: Covers grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and more.

2. General Knowledge: Includes sections such as Physics, Chemistry, General Science, History, Geography, and Current Events.

Within the General Knowledge section, there are often questions that test reasoning and analytical abilities, although it may not be a separate dedicated section labeled as "Reasoning". Logical reasoning questions can be embedded within various topics, assessing a candidate's problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Hope it helps!

mere form mai obc ke bajaye janeral ho gaya kya mai upsc nda 2 ka peper nahi de sakta hau

Saurabh Yadav 28th Apr, 2025

Hii,

If your form shows "General" instead of "OBC," you can still appear for the UPSC NDA 2 exam. The only difference is that you will be considered under the General category. This means you will not get benefits like age relaxation or marks relaxation that OBC candidates get.

If there is an error in your form, you should contact UPSC to correct it. But, in general, you are eligible to take the exam, just not with the OBC category advantages.

I failed cbse exam in 2023 and 2024 but I scored 96%ile in jee mains and NDA . so I Decided 1 more drop for jee mains and NDA . So I want to get boards from NIOS, there will be no problem in going forward.

kumardurgesh1802 3rd Sep, 2024

Hello student,

Yes, you can pursue your board exams through NIOS (National Institute of Open Schooling) after taking a drop year for JEE Mains and NDA. Here’s how it works:

  1. Eligibility : NIOS is a recognized board and accepts students who wish to complete their secondary or senior secondary education. Your previous attempts at CBSE do not affect your eligibility for NIOS.

  2. JEE Mains and NDA : NIOS certificates are generally accepted for entrance exams like JEE Mains and NDA, provided you meet their specific eligibility criteria. Ensure that you verify the latest guidelines from JEE Mains and NDA authorities.

  3. Admission : Apply to NIOS and complete their registration and examination process. Prepare thoroughly for your JEE Mains and NDA while pursuing your NIOS courses.

  4. Documentation : Keep all documentation and records from NIOS and your previous attempts to avoid any issues during application or verification processes for future studies or exams.

As long as you meet the eligibility requirements and follow the necessary procedures, there should be no significant issues moving forward with NIOS.
