Eligibility Criteria For age in IBPS PO is following:

The minimum age limit is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years, as on 1 August 2020. Check the upper age relaxation for different categories:

There are some age relaxation for some groups as following:

1:SC/ST    5 years

2:OBC (Non Cremy layer )   3 years

3: Pearson with disabilities  10 years

4:Ex Serviceman    5 years

If you belonging from these following group .Than YESS! you can fill the form of IBPS po exam in 2020.

As per the age Eligibility criteria, the Candidate applying for IBPS PO exam should be between the age of 20- 30 years of age as on 1 August, 2020. So, Yes. You are not eligible for the exam. However, if you belong to reserved category, you have relaxation of upto 5 years. For more information, refer the official website of the respective exam.

I did BA Sociology after Diploma in Engineering. I dont posses Higher secondry education (Plus 2). Am I eligible to write Bank PO and SSC CGL exams?

Eligiblity for Bank PO exams :

The minimum educational qualification of the candidate must be that of a graduate from a recognized University.Age should be 21-30 (relaxation of 5 years for SC ST).

Eligibility for SSC CGL :

  • Statistical Investigator- Grade B
Bachelors Degree from any recognized University with a minimum of 60% in Mathematics in Class 12th

OR

Bachelors Degree in any discipline with Statistics as one of the subjects in graduation

  • Assistant Audit Officer
Bachelors Degree in any subject from a recognized University.

OR

CA/CS/MBA/Cost & Management Accountant/ Masters in Commerce/Masters in Business Studies
Completed Bachelors Degree from any recognized University or Institution and candidates must have studied either Economics/Statistics/Mathematics as a compulsory or as an elective subject.

  • Assistant Section Officer
Bachelors Degree from a recognized University/Institute

and,

Candidates must also qualify in the Computer Proficiency Test.

  • All other posts
Bachelors Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institute

Hey divya, Please do mention what degree you are pursing and

If you are an engineering candidate then you can apply for the exam once you finish the B.tech / BE course. But if you are a Degree graduate then you can apply for the exam this year.

Hello,

As per the official notification of IBPS for the recruitment of its probationary officers, it states :final year results of the candidates should be declared on or before 26th August,2020". So, if your final year results get declared within this stipulated time , then only you can  apply for this exam, else you have to wait for next year.

Hello!

Any candidate who is fulfilling following eligibility criterias are eligible for the IBPS PO exam:-


1.must be a citizen of India


2.must be min.20 years and max.30 years old (relaxation for reserved category and ex-serviceman)


3.must hold a graduation degree


So, if you are fall under all these eligibility criterias then, Yes you can appear for the ibps po exam easily.


All you need to have is to secure atleast 60% in your graduation.

I have been selected as an IBPS PO this year...I have the EWS certificate for the year 2019-20...Is it valid?

hello dear,

Congratulations for your great achievement, the EWS certificate is valid for one year that is from the date you have got it till the same date of the next year, so If you have got it in the month of July and on the date 20th than it will be valid till 20th july 2020 and like wise for any other dates.
