My Date of birth is 08.09.2007. So, following that would I be alligible for AFCAT In 2025 ?

Hi aspirant,

According to the AFCAT eligibility criteria, unmarried candidates who are aged between 20 to 24 years can apply for AFCAT examination. So following that you would be eligible to appear for the examination in year 2025 as you will be 22 years old by the 31st December of that year. Also aspirants must have qualified 10+2 with 60% in Maths and Physics and graduated in any discipline BE / BTech /Cleared section A and B exam of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with 60%. if I have 48 marks in phy and 78 in maths then can i register for afcat exam??

The candidate must have completed his 10 + 2  level board examination with maths and physics as compulsory subjects and must have scored at least 50% marks in aggregate. If you satisfy the mentioned criteria only then you are eligible for Air Force Common Aptitude Test. On graduation level the candidate must have completed his graduation with 60% marks in the aggregate.

Hello aspirant


For giving AFCAT exam the eligibility criteria is like this:

You must attain the age of 20-24 years, nationality should be indian, marital status should be single and passed out with 60% in Physics and Maths in 10+2 level.

But as you specified you have passed your class 12 level from arts background then you're not eligible for this.

Don't lose hope just give try to other ones. There's never shortage of opportunities.

My DOB is 14th November 1998, I am 23 years old now and Ill be 24 as on 1st January 2023 ( i.e on the commencement of course 2023) am I still eligible to atleast attempt the AFCAT 1 2022 for the flying branch?

Hey aspirant,

The age limit to apply for AFCAT exam is 20-24 years and according to your date of birth you will be 23 years old in 2022. Therefore I don't think there should be any problem for you to apply for the examination. You can apply for the exam

Hope you are doing great! Here's your answer!

Candidates with a minimum of 50% marks each in Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level and a minimum of four years degree graduation/integrated post-graduation qualification in Engineering/ Technology from recognized University OR cleared Sections A and B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers.

General Eligibility Criteria: Age: 20 to 26 years (at the time of commencement of course). Age – 20 to 26 years as of 01 July 2022 (i.e., born between 02 July 1996 to 01 July 2002(both dates inclusive). The notification for AFCAT(2) -2021 will be published by June 2021 and the likely date exam maybe 21–22 August 2021.

can a person who completed his intermediate open not as a regular are elligible for AFCAT??

Hello,

Yes, candidates who have passed 10+2 from open schooling are eligible to apply for AFCAT provided that they must have scored minimum 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics and Physics individually. Can I appear for the CDS or AFCAT to join in AFA after passing out in NDA if you have got admission in IMA or INA in the NDA?

The CDS Exam is conducted for recruitment to the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Indian Naval Academy (INA), Air Force Academy (AFA), and Officer Training Academy (OTA). Candidates can apply for CDS, but make sure you are completing your degree before the date of joining.

You are currently in your third year of graduation in chemical engineering. Any student of any engineering branch can appear for CDS exam. ... You can appear for CDS when you are in your final year if the degree, that means if you are in a program of 4 years then you can give paper from 7th semester.

i have eye sight like this LE - 1.5 and RE -3.0 , am i eligible for afcat non tech????, which limit is +-3.5 for both eyes or single eyes

Dear aspirant !

Hope you are doing great ! Sorry to say that but you will not be eligible to apply for the post as your right eye is too weak .-3.0 which is not allowed neither in afcat nor other defence posts but do not disappoint ,there will many opportunities further in your life which are waiting for you.
