i scored 167 in my afcat exam should I prepare for afsb ....Is there any chance to get selected?

Yogita 9th Apr, 2022

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing good...!!!

According to the earlier year's patterns, a score between 150-180 is adequate to get shortlisted for a meeting. Understudies ought to expect to score more than 160, as because of high rivalry, the competitor will have more possibilities getting a notice on the last legitimacy list.

Indeed, you will be proclaimed qualified in the web-based trial of AFCAT. You really want to get ready well for every one of the phases of the AFSB Interview.

Hope this information helps you!!

All the best!!!

What is the minimum duration of service after finishing AFCAT? Could offices for 5 years?

Sharon Rose Student Expert 17th Feb, 2022

Hello,

The tenure for Flying Branch in Indian Air Force if a candidate has joined through AFCAT is Fourteen years from the date of commissioning and it is Non-extendable. And the tenure for Ground Duty (Technical & Non-technical) is Ten years from the date of commissioning. An extension of four years may be granted subject to service requirements, availability of vacancies, suitability, merit and willingness. So in case of flying branch the tenure is not extendable and in case of Ground Duty (Technical & Non-technical) the tenure is extendable depending on  service requirements, availability of vacancies, suitability, merit and willingness.
