I want to do bsc physics but in college form there is natural science is natural science and bsc same i am confused if i do natural science can I give CDs and AFCAT exam ?

Mayankjha.student2007 25th Aug, 2022

Hello dear,

If you want to do BSc in physics then I want to tell you that BSc physics and Natural science are both different fields. BSc physics is a 3 year programme where you can study about only phsyics. When you do BSc in physics you can dive down into the physics.

But at the other hand if you studied Natural science so it is 2 to 4 year course. In Natural you have to study math, physics, chemistry, biology as well.

But you are eligible to give your CDSE as well as AFCAT exams by studying natural science as well BSc in physics the only thing is at last you can score more than 60 percent in your course. Because 60 percent marks in compulsory in both CDSE and AFCAT.

All the very Best.

i am appearing in afcat, my aadhar card have different addresses than my admit card. should i gave a attempt or not??

sakshijadhav277 26th Aug, 2022

Hey Aspirant,

If your aadhar address is wrong or no longer your address tgen first get your aadhar card rectified from your nearest camp. Basically banks in your area are assigned with aadhar rectification task.

However, if your address printed in aadhar card is correct and you want it to be official then you can enter that in various official forms, etc.

Your aadhar is also your address proof, so be careful about that.

All the best!

Candidates for AFCAT must have completed their 10th and 12th grades with 60% in Math and Physics.
For INET, candidates should have a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in the 10th and 12th classes.
In order to be eligible for OTA CDS, one must be an engineering graduate from a recognised institute with physics and math as compulsory subjects in their 12th grade.

after graduation do class 12 marks matter in defence exam(afcat, cds, inet) please tell..

Muskan Dhalwal 7th Aug, 2022

Hi,

For AFCAT, there is no such requirement of an overall percentage but you must have scored above 60% aggregate in Physics and Mathematics individually.

When it comes to CDS, there is no lower limit for your score in 12th grade but you must have Mathematics and Physics as subjects at 10 + 2 level.

For INET, candidates need to have a score of 60% in their 10th and 12th grade examinations to be able to apply for the exam.

Hope this cleared your doubt.

I have 53% in pcm class 12 and 65% overall am I eligible for afcat

Arhana Chakraborty 30th Jul, 2022

For the AFCAT flying branch, the eligibility suggest that the student need to pass 10+2 with 60% in Physics and Mathematics and also needs to complete there BE/BTech in any discipline.

For the AFCAT Ground Duty Technical Branch, the eligibility is also the same as the Flying branch or,

So if you don't have 60% marks each in Physics and Mathematics you won't be eligible for the AFCAT.
