sir one more question can a pcb girl student apply for afcat non -technical ground duty after completion of her graduation??

Sharon Rose Student Expert 1st Jul, 2021

Hello,

Unlike for Ground Duty Technical there is no requirement to study Mathematics and Physics in 10+2 level and score minimum 50% aggregate marks for Ground Duty Non-technical. So if you have passed 10+2 with Biology, Physics and Chemistry and passed in graduation in the relevant field then you are eligible to apply for AFCAT Ground Duty Non-technical. There are various branches in Ground Duty Non-technical listed below

  • Administration branch
  • Accounts branch
  • Logistics branch
  • Education branch
  • Meteorology branch

The eligibility is branch specific which you need to fulfill. To check the eligibility requirements use the link below

Hey,

Yes, any degree from a UGC-approved university is sufficient to apply for the UPSC CDSE exam. Because IGNOU is the National University for Distance Education, all government hiring organisations esteem its accredited courses.

You can Pursue your graduation from any of the distance education institutions. You just need to note that it should be valid and approved from UGC. Along with it, for appearing for CDS and AFCAT you need to meet their basic eligibility criteria.
