For a BCA student what will be his/her educational level at afcat registration?

anirudha vats 23rd Jun, 2021

Hey,

AFCAT is a national exam conducted for admission into air forces of Indian academy. The minimum eligibility for the exam is,

- a minimum of 50% marks in maths and physics and over all 60% marks in your class 12th from a recognized board.

- a graduation in any field from a recognized university.

As far as your question is concerned as you have done only BCA so your educational level will be Graduation.

Below I have attached a link that contains detailed information about the AFCAT exam and it's registration process.

Hope that helps.

if a candidate has a 1 year gap between his graduation. Is he still eligible for AFCAT

Sharon Rose Student Expert 1st Jun, 2021

Hello,

Yes, you can apply for AFCAT even if there is one year gap in education. But you need to fulfill the age criteria. The minimum age limit for flying branch is 20 years and the upper age limit is 24 years. For Commercial Pilot License holders issued by DGCA the upper age limit is 26 years. For ground duty technical and non technical the lower age limit is 20 years and the upper age limit is 26 years. You must also fulfil the education eligibility criteria for the post  you are applying. Here is the link where you can check the education requirement and the eligibility to join in Indian Airforce
