• Minimum: 21 Years

• Maximum: 27 Years

The age group of 21 to 27 is eligible to apply for the ESIC SSO, Whereas, age relaxation in upper age limit is given to candidates belonging to the reserved category. The age relaxation for various reserved categories are given below

Educational Qualification

The minimum educational qualification to apply for the ESIC SSO, candidates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university are eligible for this post. Preference will be given to the candidates who have graduated in Commerce/Law/Management. Working knowledge of computers including use of office suites and databases.

The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation will release the ESIC SSO 2023 application form in online mode on the official website. Candidates will be able to fill the application form of ESIC SSO in online mode only. 

Candidates are first required to complete the registration process on the official website. After the successful registration, candidates can proceed to fill the application form of ESIC SSO. While filling the application form, applicants need to upload scanned images of recent photographs, signatures and thumb impressions and handwritten declarations. To get the ESIC SSO application form successfully, candidates have to pay the application fee. Applicants can pay the ESIC SSO application fee in online mode only. The age limit to apply for ESIC SSO is 21 to 27 years.

• Click on the link that reads ‘APPLY ONLINE FOR RECRUITMENT TO THE POST OF SSO IN ESIC’ available on the web page.

• Fill and complete the online registraion form by providing your name, contact details and email address.

• Fill the ESIC SSO application form 

• Check all the details entered in the ESIC SSO application form before submitting.

• Pay the application fee

• Upload the scanned documents.

• Download the application form and take a printout for future reference.

The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation specifies the ESIC SSO exam pattern in its official notification. According to the exam pattern of ESIC SSO, The exam will be conducted in three stages such as prelims, mains and skill tests.

The prelims exam is qualifying in nature and marks will not be reckoned for final merit. There will be a negative marking of one-fourth of the mark for each wrong answer assigned to that question. Candidates will be shortlisted for the mains exam in a ratio of 1:10. The version of the question paper will be in English and Hindi.

ESIC SSO exam pattern for Mains

The marks obtained in mains will be considered for final selection.For each wrong answer, one-fourth of the mark allotted to that question will carry negative marks. Candidates will be shortlisted for skill test in a ratio of 1:5.

ESIC SSO Skill Test and Descriptive Test 

1. Computer Skill Test (CST) - 50 Marks (30 Minutes Duration) comprising of following three parts: 

• Preparation of 2 Power Points Slides – 10 Marks

• Typing matter on MS Word with formatting - 20 Marks

• Preparation of table on MS Excel with use of formulae – 20 Marks

2. Descriptive Paper - English Language (Letter Writing & Essay)

The conducting authorities will issue the ESIC SSO 2023 admit card in online mode on the official website. Candidates who successfully submitted the application form will be able to download the admit card from the official website. The ESIC SSO admit card can be downloaded using login credentials such as registration number/roll number and password/date of birth. In case of any details are printed wrongly on the admit card of ESIC SSO, applicants must contact the conducting authority to do corrections as soon as possible. Candidates need to carry the admit card along with one valid photo ID proof on the exam day.

• On the next page, the ESIC SSO admit card login window will open

• Enter the login credentials

• Download the ESIC SSO admit card.

ESIC SSO Answer key will be released by the conducting authorities on the official website. The answer key of ESIC SSO consists of all the correct answers to the questions asked in the examination. The ESIC SSO answer key will be released approximately 15 to 30 days after the conclusion of the examination. The answer key will be released separately for all the phases.

The Employee’s State Insurance Corporation will release the ESIC SSO 2023 result in online on the official website. The ESIC SSO result 2023 will be released in the form of PDF. The ESIC SSO result is released separately for all the stages of the exam. Candidates who qualify in the prelims exam of ESIC SSO are eligible to appear in the mains exam.

The ESIC SSO cut off marks will be released along with the result declaration by the Employee’s State Insurance Corporation. The cutoff marks of ESIC SSO 2023 will be released separately for various categories. Candidates who score marks equal to or higher than the ESIC SSO cut off marks 2023 will be considered qualified.

The exam authorities announced the ESIC SSO selection process in the official notification. As per the ESIC SSO selection process, there are three phases. Phase 1 of the ESIC SSO exam is preliminary, Phase 2 is main exam and the final phase is Skill test.
