What are the rules for type 1 diabetics attempting ctet? Are they allowed to carry medication and other stuff ? as they are permitted to do in board exams.

Jyoti Eyasmin 14th Aug, 2022

Dear Student,

When there is emergency of medical conditions, with proper prescription, the exam coordinator will allow your medications under certain rules and regulations.
As your condition comes under serious medical complications, they’ll definitely allow you to take your meds along with you.

To know more about the exam -

https://competition.careers360.com/exams/ctet/articles

You already know what are the precautions one should take during such medical conditions, but I would still like to point out some -

1. Keep your blood pressure and cholesterol level under control.

2. Take care of your teeth.
Gum infections may make you more susceptible to diabetes. Use fluoride toothpaste at least twice a day, floss once a day, and make appointments for dental checkups at least twice a year. If your gums bleed, appear red or swollen, call your dentist.

3. Pay attention to your feet.

High blood sugar levels can harm your feet's nerves and reduce blood flow. Cuts and blisters can cause serious infections if left untreated. Your feet may experience discomfort, tingling, or lack of sensation as a result of diabetes.

To avoid foot issues:

- Use lukewarm water to wash your feet every day. Do not wet your feet because doing so can cause dry skin.

- Dry your feet gently, paying specific attention to the space in between your toes.

- Apply lotion or petroleum jelly to your ankles and feet to moisturise them. Avoid applying creams or oils between your toes since the extra moisture can cause an infection.

- Every day, look for calluses, blisters, ulcers, redness, and swelling on your feet.

- If a sore or other foot issue doesn't start to heal after a few days, speak with your doctor. Consult your doctor as soon as possible if you have an open sore on your foot.

- Never wear bare feet inside or outside.

4. Examine taking an aspirin daily.

Your doctor might suggest taking a low dose of aspirin every day to help lower your risk of heart attack and stroke if you have diabetes and other cardiovascular risk factors like smoking or high blood pressure. The risk of bleeding from taking aspirin may outweigh any potential advantages if you don't have any other cardiovascular risk factors. As well as which aspirin strength would be ideal for you, inquire with your doctor about whether daily aspirin medication is appropriate for you.

Stay safe and all the very best for your exam.

If someone has qualified CTET as OBC but he/she is from general caste, then what would he/she do? Is the certificate valid? Does he/she need to appear for CTET again?

sakshijadhav277 27th Aug, 2022

Obviously, the candidate will be considered as OBC.

Even if he has secured a score more than cutoff for General Category, he will be considered as other backward class, subject to validity of all the certificate needed to prove the same.

Note: Candidates with a Non-Creamy layer certificate only can avail reservations belonging to OBC.

Hope this helps!!

helo mam my name is Monika and I want to ask one thing i have completed my post graduate with 48% so i want to ask mai ctet ka exam de sakti hu kya please suggest me or bed one year lagu ho chuka hai ya nahi

Kushagra Singh 20th Jul, 2022

Hi Monika,

CTET stands for Central Teacher Eligibility Test, is a national level exam conducted by Central Board of Education (CBSE). There are no restrictions in number of attempts.

The eligibility criteria is to be an  Indian, with minimum age limit of 17 years, 50% in senior secondary and at least two years of diploma in elementary education.

However, If you have done minimum of 55% in post graduation with a 3 years integrated BEd-MEd course from any NCTE recognized institution, you are eligible for CTET.

As you scored 48% in PG, so you are not eligible based on this criteria.

However, as there is no upper age limit, if you have scored minimum 50% in senior secondary, I suggest you to complete at least two years diploma course in elementary education. if you are deeply interested in being a teacher.

The paper is held twice a year for appointment as teachers for Classes 1 to 8 in Central Government Schools such as KVS, NVS, etc. There are two papers, PAPER 1 for classes 1 to 5 and PAPER 2 for classes 6 to 8.

Thank you!

Hello aspirant,

Hope you are doing good...!!!

Indeed! you can give CTET,the nios board training is likewise substantial for CTET. the competitors what all's identity is finished confirmation in rudimentary schooling

Indeed, assuming that you were in your last year of B. Ed course and you cleared your CTET endorsement then it will be viewed as a substantial declaration. For CTET Eligibility: A competitor more likely than not graduated with somewhere around half checks and passed or showed up in Bachelor in Education

Hope this information helps you!!!!
