Central Teacher Eligibility Test
Hi,
The CTET exam is conducted for employing primary teachers i.e. from class 1 to 5 and elementary teachers i.e. from class 6 to 8.
Going by the information which you have said, for paper 1 you are eligible as out of the 5 eligibility criterias you have to fulfill one which says that you need to score atleast 45% or 50% in your higher secondary. For paper 2 i.e. elementary teacher, there are 6 eligibility criteria out of which you need to fulfill one. One of them says that you need to have a graduation certificate while the other says to have passed senior secondary with 50% which you have already fulfilled. There are other parameters as well such as A degree or diploma in teacher education which must be recognized by NCTE, in case of a Diploma or Degree in Special Education, the programs recognized by Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) will be considered and Candidates with D.ed (Special Education) will have to undergo an NCTE recognized 6-month special programme in elementary education.
Hello Aspirant,
Here is some preparation tips you can follow for the exam preparation:
You can go through the exam pattern and syllabus for better preparation. This competition exam is quite tough so you have to prepare in advance so to develop good command over the fundamentals of paper selected.
You must solve previous years'question papers. This will help you in knowing the exam well and also help you to finish the exam in the given time.
You must start preparation with the easiest portion. Also, You should divide your time equally between all the sections.
Do not start any new topic at the last moment. That will only create confusion.
Make a proper routine and follow that strictly.
Good Luck!
The Institute pin code in CTET form is the pin code of the college the applicant pursued graduate or post graduate studies from. This detail is filled in addition to %age, state, name of degree under the education section.

Good luck for your examination :)
Feel free to ask if you have any further queries.
Hi, there might be an error in your CTET admit card . It is advised to get the errors rectified before the exam or else it can create a problem during the exam.
Not just this, if you have any other errors in your admit card you should get them rectified asap.
Hope this helps!
Thanks
Hi Anchal,
Don't worry about this, you can make corrections in your ctet application form at the time when the correction poetal for ctet gets opened. As per my knowledge it usually opens after 20-30 days of the submission of your application form through online mode.
But, for more accurate dates please check out the official website of ctet regularly till the portal gets opened.
Good luck.
