Hello aspirant,
They get hired basically through the same process and have relevant pieces of training. An administrative officer is tasked to oversee the day-to-day operations of an organization. His general duties are preparing correspondences, answering phone calls, and creating reports whereas IAS is a national-level service. IAS is a state-oriented job that can place you anywhere within the state and an Administrative officer is lower than IAS.
Thank you
That’s great! It’s a wonder and inspiring dream and aim which can be achieved with just the right amount of hard work.
It takes rigorous preparation and sleepless nights sometimes. It can be hard, but it is also very very possible.
The UPSC CSE exam is in 3 parts-
Prelims
Mains
Interview
All the best for your future pursuits
Hi there.
For IAS, there are no required subjects for 11th grade.
You must have graduated from college in any discipline to be an IAS. Graduates in engineering, medicine, science, the arts, and business are included. No particular stream needs to be considered for the IAS test. The ideal strategy for advancing is to select topics in which you envision a future. What future endeavours do you want to pursue?
The fact that lakhs of students apply for the limited openings in the Indian Administrative Service is a crucial point to remember at all times. Always have a backup plan in place in case your application is rejected.
Therefore, pick your topics wisely. What do you hope to do after placing 12th? If engineering is the response, choose physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
Choices should be made in this manner. You may rest confident that it won't matter what topics you decide to study. You can still submit an application for the Civil Services Exam.
An eligible applicant must be an Indian national who has passed in any stream from a recognised university between the ages of 21 and 30 (with a higher age limit for candidates from restricted groups).
Hello,
Yes, if you're aiming for UPSC then you need to complete graduation in any stream from a recognized university, diploma isn't accepted in this regard there is no such restrictions of belonging to specific discipline when it comes to appearing for upsc, however if you complete your graduation in subjects like political science, public administration, history, geography, economics, sociology etc there is considerable overlap with the syllabus of general studies and optional subjects, see if you're pursuing your degree from a recognized university say IGNOU for example then it's valid for higher studies as well as government jobs. you can definitely pursue higher studies while doing government job, if I further provide you information about IGNOU, it has various regional centres all over India, and under it are study centre where you submit your assignments, appear for term end exam etc, so there is no problem you can choose any degree of your choice, just make sure the specific degree is valid in distance mode and the university is recognized by ugc.You can apply even in the final year of graduation provisionally, and you need to attain 21 years as on 1stAugust of the appearing year.

The syllabus of UPSC CSE does not change every year. In fact it seldom changes. The last time it saw changes was in the year 2013 and now that it has nearly been a decade, it still remains untouched.
Hence, even if your are preparing for later, you most probably are safe.

Hello Aspirant
Not at all, no. No institute's resources are adequate.
You must create your own study material from these institute's notes, Toppers' notes, your own regress analysis of the topic from Google, and notes from previous year's questions in order to pass this exam.
No Institute can say that you must only read their notes to pass the UPSC exam because of the way the exam is designed; this is not their fault.
If they are, they are lying, I can tell you.
