Union Public Service Commission conducts Civil Services examination every year for the recruitment of candidates for Indian Administrative Services (IAS) . The selection process of UPSC IAS consists of three stages - prelims exam, mains exam and personal interview.
If you are interested in Civil Services Examinations, I advise you to go for humanities stream after your class 10. Be consistent and study NCERT books thoroughly, especially social science subjects. Make your concepts of mathematics clear. Make your own notes and revise as much as possible. This is what you can do at your academic level.
After your class 12, go for the graduation in Arts so that your preparation for Civil Services Exam becomes easy for you. Remember, you need to be patient and punctual about your preparation for this exam. There's no shortcut to crack IAS examination. Determination and hard work is the key to success.

Exam : ISA Prelims
paper is of 200 marks and carries a total of 400 marks.
Papers are objective type with multiple-choice questions.
Negative marking : One-third of the mark for wrong answer.
The duration is 2 hours.
Language is English or Hindi
IAS Mains
There is a total of 9 papers for this
7 merit based papers of 250 marks each and 2 qualifying language papers of 300 marks each.
The minimum cut off marks is 33% in general studies paper I and Paper II, after clearing those yo will be definitely called for the IAS Mains 2020 exam.
The questions for Mains exam will be descriptive in nature and you will have to answer minimum 25% score in the remaining papers.

Okay so let me tell you the starting salary of PCS J ranges from Rs. 24,000 to Rs. 80,000 per month. Along with basic salary , the judges are entitled to get allowances like house rent allowance, dearness allowance , travel allowance and many more.
Salary for IAS starts from 50,000/- and can reach upto 2,50,000.

Although the level of an ias is much higher than a doctor, but they have so many responsibilities that giving time to theit family becomes tough. But, an ias has so many benefits from bunglow to car to bodyguards and a good salary. Whereas, a doctor can earn more than an ias if moulds his carrier towards a good business.
