UPSC Civil Services Exam
Hi,
In college you need not put much pressure on yourself. Enjoy the college life, and study the course you are enrolled into. Side by side you can pick up subjects on weekends or whenever you get time. Pick the subjects you are not fully aware of maybe history, maybe civics. Study side by side. Do this for the first two years, in 3rd year you can look for weekend IAS coaching, if available. Study there, and participate in test series. Through this, by the time you graduate you will be ready to give your UPSC exam.
Hello,
If you want to prepare for UPSC CSE then best of luck firstly. This is one examination which you can clear and becoming a civil service officer and you can change the environment actually.
Like after clearing the examination prelim, Mains and interview also you will be selected for some different branches like IPS, IAS, IFS, IRS etc. I'll clear you all the post details below.
This are main role of this officer. You will clear the examination and join any one above this.
All the best.
There are no official notifications regarding any mark on the body. So you are eligible for the examination as well as to join for IAS. If the mark is natural burn then no problem but if its a tatoo or something like then there can be some problem.

If you're wholly focused on becoming IAS then you should choose humanities stream, as this will help you in your preparation part in the sense you will already be acquainted with subjects such as history, geography, political science, economics etc, as all these are part of UPSC syllabus for GS paper as well as optional and in future if you choose to do graduation in any of the aforementioned subjects, then your subject choice will be aligned with your preparation process, however if you have inclination towards any other career choice, you can go ahead with that also, in general there is no restriction to belong to any stream for upsc exam, candidates from any discipline can appear and diverse backgrounds candidates qualify these exams such as engineering, medical, commerce etc, so in case you want to have a back plan if you're not completely sure at this moment, you can choose it, and later on you can appear for upsc.
Hello Natalia!
After 10th,you have to complete your class 11th and 12th with any group but I think HEC (History Economics Civics) will be useful.
After completion of class 12th,you have to complete your graduation (Any degree).
After completion of bachelor degree, you have to take coaching for an IAS for 1 year.
After coaching,You have to appear for exams (I.e.prelims,mains).
If you have qualified in mains then you'll get a call for interview.
The marks of mains and interview will be added.
If you have got a good rank then you'll become an IAS.
Thankyou!
Hope it helps!
All the best for your future!
Hey,
Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) is an undergraduate degree of about five years duration. It's not mandatory that you need to do your further studies if you want to practice.
People do further post graduation to gain specialisation in the relevant medical field as MBBS only gives you general degree and not specialised degree.
If AIIMS vacancy mentions that only MBBS candidate can apply you are good to go but if it mentions or requires a post graduate degree sorry to say.
The eligibility will depend upon the post for which allocation is needed.
Hope that helps.
Thank you.
